Started with great communication through emails & continued throughout our stay. Both Dave & Wayne are lovely & could not do enough.||||The cottage was so much nicer than I expected plus had everything we needed - from toilet rolls to washing up liquid. It was clean, well stocked, warm, comfortable & perfect for our needs. ||||This was a mini break for myself (a single mum) & two children (11 & 13) purely to visit Longleat. Longleat was an easy drive - 10-15 minutes away & well sign posted. I was concerned about local amenities for groceries etc but this was a straight forward drive - 5-7 minutes away was the gorgeous local town of Bradford on Avon, our one regret was not leaving enough time to explore. ||||The highlight was our cows. This really is a farm, although unless you go around the back you would not know it. We discovered a gorgeous herd of friendly cows yards from our cottage. ||||So we slept well, we had everything we needed, the owners were on hand if needed, but discreet enough to leave you to it. I couldn't thank them enough for a perfect break. ||||We will DEFINITELY return ( a good 3.5 hour drive from home) next year for another break & cannot recommend this enough.

We have just come back from a short break at Romsey Cottages. We stayed in Hazel Cottage. The cottage was bright and clean. Rooms were all of a nice size. Added bonus of a dining room so we could all sit down comfortably to eat together. ||Dave could not be more welcoming, polite or helpful. ||My sons enjoyed playing tennis in the morning. ||Great location to go out and explore the surrounding areas. ||We are going back in June! ||Thank you for a fab October half term ||Claire, Peter, Freddie and Dominic

I cannot fault this property from start to finish! I booked for a hen party of 10 of us after staying previously at a hen party and being so impressed with it! Dave and Wayne were fantastic, and were contactable if needed, we were welcomed very warmly!! We had a hot tub hired to the property with no problem and was fantastic on the patio with tables and chairs next to it! The garden is huggeeee and has a tennis court at the end! I can imagine it's a fantastic place to come with children as it's well shut off from the road, and you feel very secluded from anyone else. The rooms are great! And everybody slept very comfortably! And our bride lost her mind when she saw the ensuite in the biggest bedroom upstairs which has a double and two twins - The kitchen is perfect for cooking BIG! There's lots of space, appliances pans ect and the added bonus of a connecting large utility room for space which also has a bathroom coming off that!! The dining area in the conservatory is great! And turns into a warm twinkling cave at night with its lamp and fairy lights and rustic farmhouse feel! I have comfortably sat with 12 around this table but there is defiantly room for more! there is also an amazing stereo with iPhone dock in there which was perfect for our hot tub drinks!!! The living space is also a fab space with big sofas and a gorg fire place ! ( again loved the fairy lights in here!) Location was fab it's on a working farm so you hear the cows chatting away which just adds to its charm, other than the cows there are no neighbours so you really feel like it's yours!! As the house and cottages surround the big drive way area - everyone felt very safe and fitted the 5 cars we turned up in. The property is about a 5 min drive to supermarkets we click and collected to the asda there and worked really well! we drove into bath easily only 8 miles so didn't take long for our activities and went back into Bath for our night out by limo and came back about 2am for £40 for 7 seater. The cottages connecting are Also a great space with their own kitchen living room and dining room with skylight in Hazel!- and is lovely space which slept 4! I really can't rave about Romsey Oak farm enough!! It's got charm its rustic, clean and homely. And superb value for money - with the added bonus of a well communicated easy transaction with fantastic friendly and hosts who were amazing and helpful all the way through! Would definitely stay again!!! ||Isobel

Just returned home from a brilliant 2 night stay with my friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and see the New Year in in style!||Owner was very informative throughout the booking process and on hand when needed. The main house is huge and comfortabley fit all of my friends for dinner and celebrating. we hired out 3 other cottages for friends to sleep in that were kitted out with all amenities if you were to hire them alone. Beds comfortable, all supplies of kitchen equipment well stocked and clean.||Very impressed, we're hoping to book for next year!||Lovely little pub about 10 minutes walk away. Would definitely reccommend this as a place to stay! Thanks Dave

Very helpful owners prior to visit, but disappointed soon after arrival. The property showed signs of wear and many items of glassware and crockery were dirty, which meant first job was using dishwasher. My impression was that the property started off in excellent shape, but repairs and improvements have lacked quality. I expected a complete set of champagne flutes and wine glasses, but there were oddments. We had an interesting family occasion, but didn't expect to dust and wash up prior to our guests arrival

We are an elderly couple and were travelling with our adult son. The cottage that we were placed in was exceptional. It was 2 storeyed with 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuites, a magnificent kitchen , outdoor dining area, huge lounge and I could go on and on. The bathroom in our ensuite had to be believed - blue dimmed lights under a Eiffel Tower painting.||The owner David could not do enough for us. The added attraction was the farm across the road in a typical English setting. Its closeness to Bath is another advantage.

Romsey Oak is a beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped, the owners were extremely friendly, generous and helpful and, despite the wintery weather, the warmth and homely feel of the farmhouse was perfect for relaxing with a roaring fire. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had everything we needed to feel comfortable and will definitely want to stay again. 100%

The host was very nice and prompt when needed. The cottage is quite overpriced for what it is, it needs some love. Advertising a garden, left the impresion there will be a garden where we can leave the dog when we are away. The garden was to share with other 3 cottages(this should be specified) , not secured, the dog had to stay inside for the time spent there.
