Visited for a spa day to celebrate a special occasion and would highly recommend. Communication and service was excellent, from immediately at booking right through to the warm welcome at reception and then every member of the team we met. All were professional and friendly and made us feel looked after. The facilities are lovely and the spa nice and clean. The hydrotherapy pool and relaxation spaces were particularly lovely and the treatment rooms are spacious and relaxing. The afternoon tea was delicious. We felt the day was excellent value for money - we felt very pampered and will definitely be back!

This was our first Christmas away from home. We were lucky enough to chose Rookery Hall for the experience. From the moment we arrived on Christmas Eve to when we left of Boxing Day the level of service was exceptional. The itinerary for the couple of days was well crafted. The food quality was excellent throughout the stay and the champagne flowed nicely at the right times. The old house, where all the action happened, had a nice festive atmosphere. Our room was perfect, very clean and quiet with some lovely little freebies. Overall a wonderful Christmas stay.

We enjoyed an impromptu brunch here yesterday after attending my father’s funeral. The manageress and waitress had no idea until we were leaving but they treated us so well; such efficiency and warmth, you’d be forgiven if you thought they did. Absolutely flawless service and attention to detail. Food fabulous too. My mother is a member of the spa and thought we needed a brief respite from a tough day. I don’t live locally but obviously I was happy wherever she wanted to go.
I’ve worked my entire life in catering (both front and back of house) and this level of service was not wasted on me especially as it seems apparently lacking these days in many places. Not here. Susannah is a credit to this establishment (as is the other lady who served us, but I didn’t get her name).
Very much appreciated and I’m sure I’ll be back.

We stayed at Rookery Hall to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We had prosecco on arrival, champagne in the room, welcome cakes, free snack tray and free mini bar, everything was fantastic! The room was large and beautifully clean with a comfy bed. We went for a swim in the pool and the facilities were great. We had a wonderful meal in the evening and breakfast the following morning. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I honestly cannot fault this place. Its obviously not cheap but if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion it is highly recommended.

I have spent a rather enjoyable 2 nights at the Rookery, We were given a room in the old part of the building, and wow what a lovely room with great views across the countryside. On the 1st day we used the Spa, and what a wonderful greeting we got from Kelly and Molly at reception who showed us round and explained everything to us. The coffee shop within the Spa is lovely with the same warm greating from Vicki. In the evening we decided not to dine but we did use the Bar and Ella was great in suggesting a sumptuous cocktail for my partner which She loved. Breakfast was beautiful with very attentive service from Helen and Collete they ensured we got what we wanted, nothing was a problem. All in all a very pleasurable stay. Will be back.

I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional beauty of this hotel, including the lobby, spa, restaurant, and guest rooms. My husband and I visited for a short ‘Minimoon’ and were thoroughly impressed by our experience. The staff provided outstanding service and made us feel truly valued. The manager, James, exemplified excellence, and the restaurant team was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed without delay. The food served was absolutely outstanding! Our spa treatments conducted by three professionals were equally commendable, as they created a relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our experience. We have no complaints regarding our stay and look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you to everyone at Rookery Hall.

Let me paint the picture. My wife and I were looking for somewhere to go for the weekend. We’ve stayed at Hand Picked hotels before and they’ve always been good. But Rookery Hall is by far the best place we’ve stayed in the UK by a country mile. The staff just make the whole place if it could be a 7* hotel. We called on the Friday evening for a stay on Saturday. Bailey on the reception was so polite and made us feel so at ease. When we arrived Saturday morning. Elle on reception was just fantastic so polite/professional and a credit to the hotel. She even managed to upgrade our room. The spa facilities were lovely and clean, even the staff at the spa were great specifically Victoria whom recommended which smoothie to have. (She was right) Dinner was extremely tasty and Keiran was great and kept the Guinness’s coming! Definitely would recommend staying again. Just a note on the room, the showers will shock you, and there’s a tv in the bath. Great touch! 10/10!

My partner and I went to Rookery Hall for my birthday in December 2024. From start to finish, it was a perfect stay and one of the best hotels I've ever visited. Everything impressed, everything was wonderful. The staff are superb. Welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, helpful. Our room overlooking the grounds was gorgeous, spotless and comfortable. Dinner - especially the plant-based menu - was delicious and breakfast fab with a stunning array of choices. The spa is divine. Big and lovely pool, great steam room and sauna. I had a treatment from Keren and it was one of the best I've had at a spa. Highly, highly recommend this amazing place
