First time we have been to a Roomzzz hotel so unsure what to expect we need not have worried it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The York location was excellent for us as we had friends staying on the caravan site next door. The hotel is situated next to a park in a residential area so quiet an within walking distance of York city. Car parking was easy. Would recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights and was very happy with the accommodation.|Very spacious rooms with everything you need. It was very clean, modern and well maintained. Our room overlooked the river and had a balcony, although there were no table and chairs on balcony.|Comfortable bed meant good night's sleep.|Tea and coffee facilities are also in the room as well as some toiletries in the bathroom.|Free locker available for luggage if you arrive before check-in.|Free hot drinks available from machine all day and night near reception as well as free croissants for breakfast.|Ideal quiet location which is approximately 20 minutes walk to centre of town.|We would definitely return here as it's great value for money.

The stay for 7 days was okay. The room was well appointed and we were grateful for the air conditioning in the heatwave! Great to have on site parking, only needed the car once all week! A shame the coffee machine broke after 2 days, but coffee was made available in flasks. Satisfying in summary.

Located close to the river giving a relaxing vibe this hotel is great. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Easy to walk to all the sites. Dogs are allowed on the premises so if dog allergies an issue maybe not the place for you however, no carpet and the standard of cleaning is extremely high leaves little evidence of previous “guest”. Definitely would stay again.

We have stayed at Roomz in York quite a few times now and have not found any reason to complain. The hotel staff are lovely and the rooms always clean . Parking can be a bit of a problem if you get there late on a weekend. But the reception staff are always happy to help you find somewhere to park. Situated within a 10 min walk to the city centre.

Stayed for a long weekend, very comfortable room, very clean and tidy. Great location, you can easily walk into York center, there are also nice river walks and parks straight out of the hotel. Complimentary tea, coffee and croissants in the morning was a bonus.
Special mention for Mel at front of house, so helpful, and could run the place single handed if she had to.

Lovely room with kitchen and view of the river and dog friendly.
Parking next to the hotel is Ringo and £15 for 24hrs. Complimentary coffee/teas and baked goods on a morning.
I thought the bed was too hard and the pillows were awful however my husband thought they were good.
The tv could have been better, it has no smart options just bog standard channels.

Booking in online great! Hotel great!||Reception a fiasco. We were greeted by empty seat as both ladies clearly went in a break together leaving desk empty. We were then left confused whilst reception found our room having confirmed they could see we were booked in. We are then given a key to a room that was occupied with others belongings!! The staff asked us to hang around along with another couple who had suffered the same fate having taken the decision that sorting out their error was more important than getting on with giving us and the other couple our rooms that had been booked and paid for. It appeared that the 2 ladies were inexperienced at customer service and not sure what they were doing. ||I have never stayed at a hotel where I have been given a room that was occupied with other people’s personal belongings. Security involved here is extremely poor. The other couple who suffered the same treatment were the same. We were then promised discount for the cock up and a call from the manager that never came. ||It’s a shame as the hotel is great but the reception was a total unprofessional fiasco.
