We have just arrived home after spending 3 nights at Rosemary Cottage which is in a lovely location. The rooms were clean and spacious along with the bed. The hosts are hardworking, friendly and very approachable. They do a fantastic breakfast. If you are a keen cyclist they have the Peddlers cafe along the trailway where they do excellent food. Well worth a visit.

Now I rarely leave reviews, however, when a place is this nice I simply have to. We stayed here for a week in mid September, parents and our 2 grown up children, and we were so glad that we did. The accommodation is beautiful, it's in a lovely setting, David and Emma (the owner's) are really lovely and to top it all of there is a cafe (Peddlars) at the bottom of the garden which in all honesty served the best food that we ate during our entire week. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that wants a stress free break. Its like home from home and you feel so comfortable and relaxed. You have your own ensuite room and full use of the huge open plan lounge, kitchen diner. It really did exceed expectations. Thanks to David and Emma for letting us stay with you and all being well we will be back again soon.

We booked at short notice last week and had a great few days at Rosemary Cottage. Dave and Emma were exceedingly welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed.||Our Room (Kingfisher) and en-suite were very clean, spacious and peaceful and our Yorkshire Terrier was also made welcome.||Breakfast was in Peddlars, a short walk from our room across the garden, was absolutely First Class. You would be hard pushed to find better on the Island.||Superb value short break, we will definitely return.||Thank you Dave and Emma.

We’ve just come back from a weekend staying at Rosemary Cottage. David and Emma were the perfect balance of friendly and professional. The rooms were perfectly clean and we had a most comfortable bed. We had breakfast at the Pedallers Cafe, cooked by David, and I can recommend it highly. Not just perfectly cooked, but very good ingredients (especially the sausages).

We recently stayed for 2 nights in the Robin Room.||On arrival we were met by one of the nice owners.||There is a nice big lounge to sit in with a kettle toaster etc.||Our room was small for £75 a night but the bathroom was off a good size. The mattress was a little springy but the duvet and sheets were lovely quality.||A big let down and i know the owners cant do anything but the road noise starts at 630am and doesnt stop every 30 seconds untill 10am which woke us up both mornings even with ear plugs. Odd for a rural location.||We also noticed the other rooms were double the size but we assume are more expensive.||Breakfast not included.||Maybe we expected too much looking at the reviews but feel a bit let down.||Owner took key didnt ask if we had a good time. Maybe the cafe is more important then the guests?

Lovely little cottage with very pleasant hosts. David is friendly and comes across as someone who wants to provide a genuinely nice place to stay. Room was a decent size and all the facilities that you really need are provided. Location is both beautiful and somewhat central on the island. Usually the photos of a place make it look better than it actually is... But that's not the case here 🙂

Lovely B&B. David was very friendly and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Comfortable, clean rooms and exceptionally dog friendly. The shower was excellent! Good central location too, although the single track roads on the island are not for the faint hearted.
