My wife and I stayed in this B and B recently. It is situated down a quiet country lane off the main road. We had our own front door, a breakfast room and small lounge area, as well as a comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We met the owner Mary who was very friendly and asked us what time we would like breakfast. This was very helpful since we were going to have a very late night. She made us a wonderful full English breakfast. |I would thoroughly recommend this B and B and will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. It was great value for the £100 we paid for the night.

We stayed in the one bed summer house for 2 nights in September. There was loads of room for us (2 couples). What a beautiful place to stay, tastefully designed and decorated with gorgeous gardens and surroundings. The lovely owners treated us like friends and couldn't do enough to make our stay as memorable as possible and what a great breakfast too. More spacious than the photos reveal, this cosy cabin within the grounds of the main house is perfect for a get away in the Sussex countryside.||Set in a three acre field and often visited by a herd of rather tame fallow deer, the position is delightful. ||We arrived in snow and the cabin was warm and snug. ||There is everything to allow for a short or in our case, long stay, including a washing machine. ||Super hosts, Mary and Simon are friendly and helpful and on hand nearby to ensure you have a pleasant stay. A real home from home. Pets allowed. ||Available on Airbnb or direct.

This is a secret I'm not going to share with anyone! Probably the best B&B in Sussex - possibly in the whole of the South East!
Mary, who runs it, and her husband Simon, are delightful, and *so* laid back about arrival or departure times, so you never feel stressed if getting there, or packing up to leave, is not on schedule. And their cooked breakfasts make me want to move in permanently!
Comfy, home-from-home feeling: the only place we want to stay at when we're "down south"!☺️

This is a fabulous escape in the countryside. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It was fantastic waking up to a dozen deer grazing in the garden. The hosts couldn’t do enough to help us, I’ll definitely be back again. Thanks Mary and Simon!!

I call this B&B a "More Than", (using the insurance advert terminology to add emphasis!) bed and breakfast, because you get "more than" you expcted! Mary runs it, with hubby, Simon, and they are a charming couple; nothing too much trouble for them.||What you get at Rosendale (once you find it! But that's another story!) is a delightful ground-floor annexe, of sitting room, bedroom, bathroom (bath with shower over), and a delightful dining room / kitchenette, complete with fridge/freezer, microwave & toaster. *So* much room for a jolly good price! And the view... oh!...I wanna move there! And the peace & quiet... oh!... If you live (as we do) near/on a main road, you will be in 7th Heaven at this B&B, for it is soothingly silent, with only the many wild song-birds to lullaby you into peace. Sit on the patio with your book, kick back, and let this place transport you into a really good karma!||BTW - Mary does a crackin' "Full English" for breakfast! And if you're a vegetarian, like my missus, "No problem" says Mary - and my wife got scrambled eggs, mushrooms and fried tomatoes. There's bags of parking on their driveway, but you do have to be careful *where* you park, or you may be hemmed in by the many other cars which appear overnight! All in all, this a great B&B for a couple of nights or a good long holiday sight-seeing glorious Sussex. Try it - you'll come back for more!

Mary and Simon are perfect hosts, this was my second stay with them (July 2017 & Jul 2018) a very comfortable B&B quiet country cottage, with lots of lovely places to visit locally, hope to be back next year (July 2019) Thank you Mary & Simon for yiur hospitality and for my lovely breakfasts, a good start to the day. 🙂

Spent a recent Thursday and Friday with Simon and Mary. On the Friday we had the whole family there, 10 of us, and our hosts could not have been more accommodating. Lovely friendly people, and fantastic "country" atmosphere, well done!!
