The cabin (spitfire) and site was absolutely perfect. So comfy, pristine and welcoming. They’d turned the radiators on ready for our arrival so was lovely and toasty. Hot tub was fabulous and such a treat. They’d left us milk, bread and some Halloween popdots - lovely touch.
Trish is lovely - we booked directly through fb messenger
Fully recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Liked: Absolutely everything, retreat is certainly the right name for this place. We arrived quite stressed and tired in between moving houses. Within a few hours we felt ourselves relaxing and our wrinkles disappearing in the beautiful place. The private hot tub was the icing on the cake!
The owners Trish and Ken were lovely and gave us some ideas of where to go to eat.

Liked: We were the only ones on the caravan/motorhome pitches, they have some nice residential caravans adjacent to hire. The site is very peaceful, we booked for one night but stayed for three. The managers are friendly and check that you are ok but leave you to yourselves. The owner also takes the time to speak whilst walking her dogs and is open to ideas regarding the site. Hopefully more people will use the site as word gets around. Only a 10 mins drive to Woodhall Spa.
Toilet clean and tidy.

I'm a novice pleasure fisherman. Just had an amazing Bank Holiday Friday here. Everyone was friendly and happy to share tips for the lake. I ended up bagging the biggest fish I've ever caught at 15 pound Common and bagged well over 50 pound of silvers and various carp. I fished the pellet feeder in the morning then on the pole at heat of the day in the afternoon. It's a 30 minute drive from my house but I can see rosewood being my new local ?

Nice to be able to park on your swim. Priced similarly to surrounding area. After spending the morning and most of the afternoon, trying a few different baits, the only way me and my two work mates could get the carp feeding was off the top with bread. Plenty of silver fish about though so you aren't bored ? very shallow water as well.

Liked: Beautiful setting, super friendly owner, whole campsite to myself, could not have asked for more! Needed a nice peaceful evening & that's exactly what I got, a wonderful retreat.

5 star all the way at Rosewood fishery. Caravans are beautiful and very clean . The pond is very well stocked and pegs are well presented. Mandy and ian are perfect hosts and make sure your stay is perfect and are always on hand if you need anything. We have been coming here to Rosewood Fishery twice a year for many years and hopefully be coming here for many more years. A lovely peaceful place to come to relax and catch some nice fish
