Booked the highland cow experience for my mum as her Christmas present. We were greeted and toured around by Guy who was absolutely fantastic and made our experience even better by given us a great insight to farm life. Will definitely be returning and would recommend this experience to everyone!!

I cannot express how much we both enjoyed our day here we appreciated it was a working farm and didn’t expect a red carpet welcome but we were wrong! We were greeted so warmly and with such a lovely down to earth and homely vibe, the experience was everything we wanted and hoped it would be, the farm is incredible and it was clean, well looked after and clearly a very special and well loved place, we were given a tour that was so personal and made us feel like we were the only people and things in your day, which was so wonderful because I know how busy you all must be! A farm is no easy task to complete in a day I’m sure!
The cattle we’re breathtakingly beautiful and it made my birthday beyond special, it’s a memory I will count myself so lucky to now have thanks to you all, I couldn’t have asked for more honestly, we loved the buggy ride out and about! It’s not something we were expecting but it was fantastic!!! It really made it so much fun!. Having the very private and intimate meeting with little Daniella was my idea of heaven, we weren’t rushed, I was given all the time I needed to just adore her, and belive me I did. We were asked lots of lovely questions and asked many more ourselves it was just so easy, it felt like new friends meeting up and sharing an afternoon, so relaxed and cool.
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for a perfect perfect day!
I would love to come back for an afternoon, I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do.

Once again we had a lovely weekend at Roundoak, It's always such a relaxing time and considering this is a working farm the amenities are always spotless. Norman and Ruth Are great hosts and Guys friendly welcome and helpfulness is alway appreciated This is one of our favourite places to stay at, and have been back for the last 5 years. No matter what the weather, we always have a wonderful time. We always have to visit Steve the sheep and the Captain but my favourites are the guinea fowl. Thank for a lovely stay. Kevin, Jo and Lily the dog.

We recently stayed here in our campervan. Guy was the most helpful Campsite Manager. He showed us round the farm and introduced us to all the lovely animals. The Campsite was great and peaceful. Guy recommended a few places to eat and we went to the Kings Head which was great and a nice walk to it. Would highly recommend.

We had a brilliant six nights here.It was very quiet when we arrived in fact we were the only visitors.Norman and Ruth were coming off the fields (it's a working farm) and were very friendly and helpful.Veronica had a nice chat with them about Kent, having worked in the area.
There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the weather was brilliant, which helped. They do sometimes have events here, usually in the barn, fitted out in a rustic barn-dance way.Unfortunately there were no events in there during our stay, but we were welcome to sit in there. There was a birthday event in the woods which Norman mentioned but we enjoyed listening to the band outside the tent on a sunny evening.
The toilets and showers are through the barn, which we found quite quirky,in a good way.Very clean. And I was able to have a game of darts while I waited for Veronica to have her shower.
Guy,the campsite manager,is a great bloke.Very helpful and great sense of humour.
Favourite places for us-Headcorn,a lovely village 5 minutes away and Sissinghurst Castle, fantastic gardens. But really you didn't have to go anywhere, just sit and relax.
All round 10/10,we loved it and will go back.
Ps you can buy farm-produced eggs and meat from Ruth, the sausages were first class.
