Lovely roman-style pools, a bigger jacuzzi would be good, or a warmer spa pool as it can get crowded. The swimming pool is a good size, you can actually swim if you want to. Robes are nice, flip flops not provided as standard but seem to be available if you ask. Enjoyed the sauna, the back, neck and shoulder 40 minute massage was relaxing, comfortable relaxation room and lunch was nice but quite small portions, with excellent, attentive waiting staff.

We recently stayed at Rowhill Grange Spa for two weeks as we had no water in our house. The service we received especially from Hector was excellent. He was so forward thinking and always looking to find a solution to meet and exceed our expectations, as a customer. For a young man he showed great initiative, patience, resilience and customer service, and he knew the limits of his authority and when to seek approval for an initiative, from his bosses. He is a great asset to you and feel he should be recognised for this. Also want to mention Stevie who was great at taking control of a situation, and also Chloe for her great care and customer service. Finally want to mention Wendy in the restaurant who was always pleasant and welcoming at breakfast and made us feel so valued as a guest. Thank you again. Liz and Les

Myself, husband and baby stayed here for for an overnight break and as much as we tried to be optimistic and over look small issues, they just kept stacking up and getting progressively worse.||Pros:|Staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable, cocktails were well made and I was able to park right outside the room.||Cons:|The Room|Unfortunately the room did feel quite dark and with it being on the ground floor and both windows situated on a walk way, we couldn’t leave them wide open.||There were also quite a lot of stains around the room and the bathroom could also do with better cleaning as there was a lot of mould in the corners and a stench from the drain.||Lunch|lunch in the elements bar was where the sharp decline started. To start with, many seats were quite wet, presumably from spa guest sitting with wet swim suits under their robes. We ended up waiting about 1.5 hours in total for a steak and chips even though it was fairly empty in there. After watching 2 other tables gets their food we discovered that there had been a “system error”. When the food arrived, to our shock, there was butchers string wrapped around and through the steak. Staff were thankfully very quick to take it away and 20 mins later there was another plate.||Unfortunately all this chaos meant that I was too late for my treatment and had to cancel as there was no space to push it back.||Breakfast|At this point I didn’t think anything could get worse with a simple English breakfast and Tea. Unfortunately I was very wrong.||We ordered breakfast via room service and unfortunately there were some Items missing. The plate was beautifully presented but I’d prefer if they focussed on the things that mattered most; burnt sausage, un-rendered bacon fat, empty salt shaker etc.||It got worse when we poured tea into a cup and saw something floating in the cup (which I assumed was a tea leaf). Upon opening the pot I was disgusted at the buildup in there. (See pics)||We then noticed a foul smell coming from the tea tray, so I lifted up the mat on it and I was horrified by the mould and smell. I could see old food and liquid that had accumulated from many meals. (See pic)||At this point I had just had enough and decided it was time to go home. We packed up and spoke to management. They were very apologetic and agreed it was below standard.||It was unfortunately our worst hotel experience ever and will sadly not be returning.

Spent half a day here with my wife on a spa day. As soon as we arrived, a small docket of paperwork was there with all our times and treatments etc on which was handed to us so we knew what was going on and when. The pool area is nice and relaxing, the relaxation room is nice and the neck, back and shoulder massage was great, never enough time tho. Afternoon Tea was delicious with fresh scones still warm. Overall, a great experience but as with many things in life, you pay for what you get so wouldn't expect anything else.

We stayed here for an overnight spa trip and it did not disappoint. The team was very friendly and welcoming to the hotel.
We liked our room, the bed was comfy and had a lot of space which was nice.
We both loved the spa and had a really relaxing time and loved the Roman Bath theme.
The food at the restaurant was delicious! It was so tasty and full of flavour. As we're both veggies, we were both impressed with the quality of the veggie food and effort put into it - the spinach and ricotta gnocchi was beautiful.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed here for our anniversary. 1st time staying here and probably the last. Our room was OK... quite dated but I suppose it's an old building. Floors didn't look like they had been hoovered it quite some time. Blinds weren't great at keeping the light out so staying in the summer months isn't recommended. Unfortunately we had a terrible night's sleep. Walls are quite thin so we could hear the room next doors TV until they turned it off. We stayed in the Primrose room which I think is above the bar/restaurant as we couldn't sleep due to the music they had playing. It got to 1am and we had had enough. My husband had to go down to tell the staff to turn the music off. The bedding had a funny smell.. like it hadn't been washed properly it also made me come out in a horrendous itch so all in all a terrible night's sleep was had. I couldn't wait to check out and get home. ||||Spa was great. Main pool was freezing though we lasted about 5 minutes... too cold for us. Full body massage was the best I've ever experienced. I can't remember the lady's name unfortunately but she was lovely and really helped my back pain disappear. Food was also really good. I'd definitely return for a spa day but not to stay over unfortunately.

Disappointed with our visit it was a bit rushed not enough time to enjoy spa. Luckily theTreatments were nice but I had said one lady was pregnant when booking & asked for a facial but was told couldn’t have that so had to have mum to be treatment. I also advised at time of booking that one was celiac & so when we went to dinner they hadn’t noted this down. We were also told we were in restaurant & when there we got marched out to be seated in brasserie. I felt sorry for the young waitress as she kept coming over with other people’s dinners as for sone reason she said the tickets got muddled up in kitchen, then when ours finally came out it was wrong so we had to wait for it to be made. There was not anyone in the bar permanently & people were walking up & down looking for them. They were quite noisy people too & made us feel a bit intimidated so we decided to cut our experience short & go home. I am not sure if this venue has changed hands as it is not as nice as it used to be & feel the clientele has dropped as not very nice people in there making it uncomfortable which is a shame

Loved every moment. The staff were so friendly and welcoming wherever you went in the hotel. The spa facilities were lovely, me and my partner were just in awe with everything and we felt very relaxed. I know people on here were complaining about how dim it is in there, but we really liked it and thought it added to the atmosphere. I can’t fault anything within the hotel, even our food in the RG Restaurant was fab. ||Thank you for making our weekend perfect for us!
