The hotel is all clean and done up nice to from the outside to all of the hotel . Our room was on the second floor over looking the swimming pool and the room it self was done up nice bed was comfortable there was a small fridge coffee machine and kettle in our room plus good size tv . Nice room to be in for the two nights we were there. We both said we would book to come here again and hopefully soon

Just returned from our Christmas break at the Royal Court Hotel near Coventry. With it being a Britannia hotel, it had some bad reviews on trip advisor which made us hesitant to say the least.|But we thought, what the heck let’s bite the bullet and go for it!|And we’re pleased we did, we had a brilliant time, 5 star treatment all the way. Can’t vouch for all the rooms but maybe we got lucky with a very spacious double room, large tv, tea, coffee making facilities with fridge. Comfortable king size bed, great shower pressure. All clean and modern decor.|The hotel has a swimming pool with gym, steam room and jacuzzi. Small fee of £4 for the full day returning as many times as you like.|The food was very good, Christmas Day started with full English breakfast with the main dinner in the Britannia suite at 12.00 noon. 3 courses served at the tables with complimentary quality wine. Later on , had evening buffet before the nights entertainment. |Simon, our driver was great, very cheerful and informative, he drove us to Stratford upon Avon, Lichfield and Warwick castle. Hotel staff were very friendly, especially the manager who was very polite and cheerful.|Definitely go back again! ( The bars only accept card payments. WiFi is free throughout the hotel)

This is a lovely hotel. Clean and spacious. Food is ok, don’t expect too much and you’ll be ok. The grounds are lovely. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our sink in the room was blocked and reported each day of our stay (3) but it was not unblocked, we were told that maintenance didn’t work on those days. Very bad I think. Rooms are not cleaned daily. So you need towels and hot drink top ups then reception will gladly supply. They hold functions here and people were filling the reception area but something needs to be sorted for H&S as guests found this difficult to pass with drinks to go to their rooms. It needs a keep clear gangway. A few teething problems but hopefully they will take note of people’s reviews and rectify them

Granted there is a lot off bad reviews about this place but from my own personal experience staying here all of last week the value for money is unbelievable.. Your not paying for the Hilton so you should have relevant expectations.

First of all the staff are beautiful people and the service throughout the hotel and health club was top class.. any minor issues in my week were dealt with immediately and in a very professional manner..

The gym is decent.. full body work out no problem and the health club was ten pound for an all access week pass.. class! The steam room is up there with the best I have been in anywhere..

The location off the hotel was right up my street also.. 5 minutes Uber from the city centre but hidden away on the outskirts off the city with lovely woodland walks all around.. very peaceful in and around the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was also great value for money and always loaded with options even at the end off service..

My only negative would be to avoid the dinner food.. as much as the service was again great the food was diabolical however the reception team will point you in the direction off nice restaurants that won’t be much difference in paying for the hotel food.

If I ever need to stay in Coventry again there’s no doubt this will be my house!

It served my purpose.

I had to ask for a toilet roll.

They said rooms cleaned every 4 days, more like every 4 weeks.

I bought my own toilet roll in the end.

I had to ask for fresh towels and fresh bed linen.

Not great.

The hotel is a bit tired and needs a good lick of paint in all areas. |I noted that NONE of the electrical appliances, kettle, iron, fan, heater and 3 table lamps, had PAT test labels. Now they might all be new this year.... but I doubt it!|The reception staff were pleasant enough and the room, though tired, was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bath and shower more than adequate. The room was not overly warm, though I like it that way others may not.|Parking is free though wifi is not! Despite what it says on website. A card in the room invites you to pay for WiFi, I didn't challenge it as I didn't need it.|The breakfast was OK, but not worth £9.95. Tje dreakfast room was chilly!|All in a comfortable enough nights sleep for 37gbp. So good value for money. The decor doesnt matter with ypur eyes shut! The car park was full of works vans, so it's that kind of hotel.

Large room recently refurbished. Good quality bedding and towels. Ironing board provided and lots of tea and coffee. Food was plentiful and varied . Entertainment on both nights. Freddie Mercury tribute was. very good. Swimming pool and sauna for £4 . Only criticism were the male and female toilets near the function rooms. The smell was appalling.
