Honestly this is the best find. Stunning location, excellent facilities, outstanding cleanliness, wonderful host. Lovely little touches with robes and slippers for the hot tub. Cute little smellies. Fresh crisp linen sheets and towels. Plenty of wood for the log burner.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
This is our second stay. First was in November 2024 where we experienced the cooler nights with the log burner. This weekend we had the glorious sunshine. Both visits were equally enjoyable for differing reasons. Already planning when we can get back.

Just back from a weekend here. Hut was spotless and had everything we need for the weekend. Hot tub was heated and ready for us on arrival. We were met and had a quick lesson on how to use everything then left alone for a lovely private weekend away. Would defiantly go back. Great hut, host and location.

This is my second time at staying at Rubys Retreat and we loved it just as much as our first time. Amazing views, huts are nice and clean and the hot tub is lovely. Not far from Bath city centre either. Host is very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here at the weekend as we visited Bath and Bradford-upon-Avon. Great location and the views are stunning (we stayed in the Robin hut) cabin was really clean and had everything we would need.

Jacuzzi was very clean and amazing to sit in and watch the sun go down over the valley. You have as much firewood as you’d need for the fire pit.

Andrew was very easy to talk with and communication was great. I would 100% stay here again if we are visiting the area, and would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful time away, within easy distance of Bath

Me and my wife stayed here for an unwind and relaxing break and it did not disappoint. The location is superb with beautiful views all around. The shepherds hut was excellent and the hot tub was the perfect way to enjoy the view and evening. We will definitely be coming back.

Liked: This is a beautiful and relaxing spot for a romantic getaway if you need alone time. Lots of attention to detail, from the glass size champagne on arrival, to the beautiful fair lights lighting the path to your shepherd's hut.

I stayed in jays shepherd hut, the view is fantastic, there is a wooden fence keeping your hot tub private so you can relax and enjoy the view.

Very clean, very friendly host.

10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

Liked: Just returned from a 2 night stay at Ruby’s Retreat. The accommodation is lovely clean, and well equipped, (great shower) and view from the loo from our hut 😉 I saw a woodpecker in the tree next to us.
Love the hot tub (fantastic views), fire pit and the pre pared wood stacked beautifully under each hut looked great. The site is well cared for too.
This is a great base for visiting bath and other near by attractions or for just having a chilled couple of days.
We came via Amesbury and Stonehenge. The local King William pub does a good menu too.
A very friendly and accommodating host - I’d recommend it
