The hotel is between two train stations – Hastings and St Leonards Warrior Square, and each way it’s about a 13-minute walk, which is convenient. The hotel is facing the sea front pedestrian walk which is very nice. Every night at 21:30 there’s a light show in the tunnel opposite the hotel as well. The common room and the kitchen are on the second floor, which is spacious and has a marvellous view of the seaside. Our room is at the top floor, which is quite a walk with luggage. From the window we can see the sea. We had a single bed which we wish it can be bigger. It took me a while to figure out how to get hot water for shower. The owner is a very nice person with a good taste of art, which are hanged on the walls. We enjoyed our stay there.

A great location on the beach front with quiet, clean and comfy rooms. Warm welcome and lovely chatting with Tony over a delicious breakfast the next day. We came to celebrate a friends wedding and Ruby's Rooms and Tony made it even more lovely.

Clean, well decorated rooms with a very friendly host who was happy to talk about Hastings suggesting things to do. Good breakfast and allowed us a late checkout so we could swim in the sea. Well presented on the Victorian see front near the pier

Lovely b’n’b in a perfect location!

Highly recommend staying on the seafront for a trip to Hastings. We were so lucky to have incredible weather for our trip which really made such a difference.

This is a fab place to stay, the mural makes the house a fantastic landmark and great for photo ops along the iconic seafront. We stayed up in the attic room - it has sea views and Seagulls galore. It’s just a great, down to earth, chilled out place to stay.

Kate was a brilliant host and the breakfast was delicious, great value and lovingly prepared.

Would also recommend the coffees just across the road and down the stairs at Starsky and Hatch on bottle alley.

If you’re not used to them, staying in the loft room will mean that the seagulls will wake you up at dawn, but that’s seaside life for ya!

Felt like a home away from home.

We stayed overnight. Room 5 faces the seafront, glorious sunshine beaming into the room. Very centrally located for both Warrior Square in St Leonard’s and Hastings. Superb service from booking to stay. Tony was so helpful and flexible a great host, cooked us a fab breakfast, gave late checkout. Bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch (you have to pay but still a good move). Nice artwork and decor. Clean, tidy and helpful. Would totally recommend. Cheers guys!
