Went there for a birthday party.
Hosts were amazing. Place and space was amazing, with access to the river as well.

Such a wonderful mini break at Rumleigh Farm this summer, with our children and dogs. Beautiful and cosy cottage, surrounded by gardens, fields, the river and tranquil views. The resident farm animals provided much entertainment for the children ? ? and we enjoyed some rare quality family time together, without the need for screens.
Highly recommend an escape there.

Our son got married here.. Family stayed in the main house with reception in the Barn. WE had the most amazing wedding and weekend. Louise and Andrew were fantastic and went beyond the call of duty to make the day the success it was. A very romantic setting.

Stayed for the week on this delightful farmland...hosts Keith and Annie were such amiable people, and resident pointer "Betty" was simply adorable! Keith cooked us a mean breakfast every morning, as well as giving us lots of useful tips and advice on a daily basis for activities, outings, and culinary experiences! His welcoming 'barn bar' was simply awesome and we were always made to feel welcome to have a tipple! The farmhouse accommodation is perfect in all respects, with plenty of local literature to help out with any event you might want to undertake. The farmhouse is in a beautifully secluded location that offers a delightful get away, but is also perfectly located for making visits to Devon & Cornwall attractions both rural and coastal. Beautiful B&B in the Devon shire countryside. It's easy to get down the lane, but if you have a big car just be aware, it's a bit tight in places.The rooms were tastefully decorated, charming and clean.The communal breakfast was fun. We got to meet other guests and swapped info.The breakfast was lovely and the eggs were especially fresh, as they were from the chickens that morning.Our kids loved the friendly farm dog, Betty. Keith and Annie were fab hosts.We will be back!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Lou and Andy are great hosts. There are some great walks around the farm, and you can even swim in the river Tey if you are that way inclined. A great retreat to get away from the rat race.

I booked this for my parents wedding anniversary and they were not disappointed. The comments were that the breakfast was really good and the bed was really comfortable. The cottage that they stayed in was really spacious but cosy. The local area is the Devon countryside on the river Tamar. There were lots of nice trails to walk. The B and B is tucked away however the nearby village of Bere Alston and Tavistock provide shops and pubs for food and drink. There is also a nearby train station to Plymouth or Calstock (Cornwall). The local knowledge of there hosts was really good. I would recommend Rumleigh farm.

The location is excellent for River Tamar exploration and Plymouth and Okehampton are not far. Gunnislake will lead you on to Cornwall and from Yelverton you can explore Dartmoor. The local market town of Tavistock can provide all you need, shopping wise. The converted farm has a communal lounge and eating area for an excellent breakfast cooked by the host. It is highly attractive and has small or long walks close by. Sleep comfortably and listen to the night wildlife. T' whoo.
