The café is amazing with lovely decorations and the breakfast was delicious 10/10 The farm shop stock what you eat in their café and a you can buy my absolute favourites Hash Browns. I'll take 10 tubs please and Rumwell farm shop stock JellyCats.

Really good quality farm shop and café/resturant, getting the bad point out if the way at the start - the fresh food is so expensive! This is way it’s 4* not 5*.
The ranges in the shop are great, there are also greeting cards, and good quality gifts.
The restaurant is lovely and very good quality.
All the staff we came across and interacted with were great.

Went here for breakfast and a mooch around the farm shop.

Breakfast was excellent and great value. Great place for young children with a large play area too.

Farm shop onsite was lovely with a great selection of cakes etc.

Been here on and off for a few years. This is a tale of two halves between the cafe and the shop.

The cafe -
is great, lovely staff with great customer service skills. Great range of food available. Environment is clean and pleasant seating area outside. Had lunch and dessert and the coffee was great. Good cake range available.
Food was excellent and good value.

The farm shop-
value is subjective but seems to be poor value now in the farm shop, pricing is probably fine for the occasional purchase or if money is no object.

What really impressed us most was the large selection of gluten free cakes, much more than at any other farm shop I've been to.
The cafe was also very good. We just had tea and cake which was delicious but the cream tea that other customers were having looked amazing.
After being shown to a table you are served at your table rather than canteen style at other farm shops.
Well done Rumwell tea. Thank you.

We popped in for breakfast this morning and had a wonderful time. Lots of hardstanding parking and clear signage for the entrance. We were greeted with a friendly smile and our breakfast was served quickly and delicious!! Excellent value for money and a large selection for all tastes. After our light bites we had a look around the farm shop which is fabulous!! So many things to look at and buy, also priced very well. We were so pleased to have visited and will come again soon. We were advised by the staff that is gets very busy (I'm not at all suprised) so booking might be a good idea.

Firstly, the shop is quite nice, some nice local produce, while on the expensive side you kind of expect that for fresh local produce.
However there's also a lot of other items which are available much more widely, at local supermarkets etc but are much more expensive in the farm shop.
I was disappointed that I bought three cakes as it said 10% off if you buy 3, to be told at the till that it's only if you have a loyalty card (didn't mention that on the sign). Had to buy all 3 as was a bit awkward to then put them back. Also i didn't find the cakes very tasty. The teacakes were very nice (£3.96 for 4) and so was the bread (£3.99 for large loaf). Certainly not produce most people could afford to buy regularly.
I also got a coffee and a breakfast roll/bap. As it had bacon in it I did ask if it could be well done as i hate chewy rinds, I was told it could (it was cooked fresh) but the bacon was in no way well done and I had to sit in the car cutting off the rind.
The takeaway staff were friendly, the person that served me in the shop not so much.
I got some mustard (£2.99 140g) and Marmalade (£2.99 normal size), again expensive but not stuff can usually find in the supermarket.
Wouldn't make the farm shop a destination, might pop in again if passing but there are a few options along that road.
