Cannot fault this hotel, especially the friendly and helpful staff. A real must place to stay for dog owners, we have three Labradors, who each had their own bed in our room along with blankets, toys and treats, also has a large field and paddock securely fenced in, we have never been to a more dog friendly hotel. The food was really good, breakfasts were excellent. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises. As a wedding venue it is superb.

Booked a stay through their winter package. Room was beautifully presented with rose petals, candles, prosecco and music playing. Staff were very friendly and helpful as always. Good selection of breakfast items and range of cocktails and alcoholic beverages although Heineken silver was off again

I came as part of a wedding party and the staff were amazing throughout. Constantly there if we needed something and always more than happy to accommodate. They made the whole experience run so smooth with no stress.
The breakfast was lovely the next day! (Well needed)
The bar staff at the wedding were so friendly, always quick, so chatty and made it a pleasure to order drinks!
The farmhouse was gorgeous. Exceptionally clean!
I have absolutely nothing to fault about my whole experience!
I would definitely recommend to people for a wedding or to stay over.

From arrival to departure we were so well looked after by all the staff. Our room was lovely, facing on to the fields it felt really private and the hot tub was the cherry on top.
Lunch was delicious, lovely outside space for the dog, short drive in to the town with plenty shops cafes bars and restaurants. Lovely riverside walks.
Even though there was a wedding on we didn't hear a thing! Breakfast was stunning!
It was a perfect, much needed break away from our daily hustle and bustle.

We returned to Runa Farm for our one year wedding anniversary. From the minute we stepped foot in the door, we felt so welcome and glad to be back.
We brought our Golden Retriever for the night and the staff made him so welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
The meals, accommodation, drinks and staff were outstanding and we couldn't fault any of it.
Big shout out to Josh and Iain who are a credit to Runa and gave us some of the best service that we've ever had!
We just want to say a big thank you for making our one year anniversary so special! We'll be back again next year!

We got married here in March and it couldn't have been better. Supportive staff, amazing venue and delicious food. Everyone was so helpful and supportive and made the day flow so easily. We would gladly come back just to stay a night in one of the rooms for the sake of the memories. Could not recommend Runa farm enough to anyone looking for a modern farmhouse wedding venue with amazing food and accommodating staff.

We stayed as part of a ‘wedding B&B package’. Overall, the room was beautiful, warm, had a hot tub, beautiful views out to the field. Plenty of parking, easy to locate.
I have to say staff were extremely polite, attentive and proffesional.
There was a good choice of breakfast options in the morning, however, I would say that our hot food was served to us slightly on the cooler side - however, having said that we did enjoy it.
The biggest improvement to our stay would have been the venue taking into account that we were guests staying for a wedding on site. We couldn’t check in until 3pm (I did ring ahead and ask if we could check in early - this wasn’t possible). Which meant leaving the wedding for a short time (which started at 1.30pm) to check in and drop our bags off which we didn’t want to do in darkness/icy conditions. It also meant that we had to travel in our clothes and not have the opportunity to iron out creases before the ceremony. Overall, a good stay but consideration for why guests are staying & what their needs might be would have made our stay exceptional.
