Liked: Lovely peaceful site with secluded pitches. Good hot showers.
Close to the Camel Trail. We hired bikes from the site.

Disliked: Hard standing pitches are in almost total shade (I’m sure we would be grateful for that in the middle of summer but it was a bit chilly in May). As there were no tents on the camping field in front of our pitch we took our chairs out onto the grass in the sun.

What a wonderful place! We booked two nights in a mega pod for me and my wife. It was perfect, the bed was comfy, own bathroom and sink. Communal showers were firstly very clean and always had hot water with good pressure! Bike rental for the day (cycle to Padstow) was £12.5 and there's a little shop on site. Friendly, quiet and would deffo come back again!

Liked: Everything, the little cabin was cosy, the grounds was clean and the grass was well cut. Andrew and his wife have been amazing considering I was not the best guest.

The shop is very elegant, had everything I needed and it will have everything you need!

The price was great value, really good value to be honest. Andrew and his wife are very kind and helpful and very patient.

If your looking to stay there and your reading this please respect them and the cabins.

The WiFi is outstanding, fast enough for my laptop

Disliked: I had to leave for a person emergency and I didn't want to as it was quite place to stay. I left the place in a total mess

Liked: Loved the site. The peaceful surroundings away from the hustle & bustle of the main towns. Very clean and tranquil site that was perfect for our needs. We would most definitely stay again. The showers were really warm which is perfect.

Disliked: We gave 4 stars due to the washing up areas being closed and only 1 sink able to be used. So we had to wait most days.
We also disliked other campers having no thought for others and leaving the toilets and shower areas dirty for others. Also if the hot water for the washing up areas could be hotter that would be great.

Liked: The night is very quiet, with no light pollution, allowing for a clear view of the stars.

There are private shower rooms with attached toilets. The shower has sufficient water pressure and gets adequately hot, using an instant water heater. There is heating available, but it needs to be turned on early in advance.

The grass is level and in good condition.

The power supply is stable, with an independent fuse that can be reset manually.

A communal lounge is available, equipped with a microwave, freezer, sink, laundry table, three-pin power sockets, and coin-operated washing machines and dryers (£0.50 per use).

At the reception area, there is a small shop selling basic supplies, including camping gas. It is open until 7 PM and allows pre-orders for bread, eggs, and other essentials for the next day. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Wi-Fi is available and works properly.

Disliked: The bathroom drainage is slow; please monitor the water flow.

The freezer in the communal lounge and the heating in the shower rooms are turned off by default; make sure to switch them on early in advance.

There is an unpleasant odor near the grassy area close to the toilets—best to avoid that spot.

Liked: The pitch was large enough on gravel for the van and has a bit of green attached to the side. The location was ideal for the Camel trail equidistant for riding either way.
Toilets were clean and showers were hot.

The location for the site is excellent. The cabin set in mature well looked after surroundings was great. The cabin was clean warm and very comfortable. Lovely for going out on country walks with the Camel trail only a mile away.

We used our touring caravan, out of season. Beautifully quiet, toilets and showers were immaculate, warm and clean. Only slight negative is the Eslan point there was no light and tap was a little lackluster but this only affects those with a touring caravan. We will definitely be back to this lovely site.
