I stayed last year, and rebooked for two nights for a business trip. The venue had stopped offering breakfast which was not ideal but the main issue I had was the mattress in the room. It was extremely hard. I did not get much sleep the first night and when I spoke to the venue and explained the situation and asked if they had a spare duvet or similar that I could use to soften the bed, they said they would find a solution. I arrived back to the venue and nothing had been supplied and no contact was made, despite the venue having my mobile and email. I ended up rolling up the duvet to sleep on and sleeping in the supplied dressing gown - just to get a better nights sleep. I would not expect to have to do this in a quality venue. The venue did contact me after I put this in an email but the offer was a free room if I visited again. Would I take up this offer to get a poor nights sleep again - no?

I attended a wedding at the farm last Sunday as a guest. The day was relaxed, comfortable, well organised, a perfect day.
Special thanks to the helpful and attentive car park attendant for their professional attitude in a friendly manner. A difficult role to perform in the rain.
To Luke one of the managers for making me a decent coffee and taking the time to talk to me about the venue.
To the caterers for their delicious dishes, well presented, hot and plentiful.
To the operations team, serving at table, manning the bar and supporting the turnarounds. All were excellent, no request was too challenging. The guys behind the bar, made my friend and I when telling us their Guinness stories.
The whole day was amazing. The venue/staff delivered an outstanding wedding day for Lucy & George. All their guests enjoyed the 5* hospitality provided by Rylands Farm. A perfect day!
Looking forward to returning next year. ❤️?

Went to a wedding here and stayed over Lovely day.
Food came out at different times.
I asked a young male if I could get a hot drink and was told if you are staying over, go and get it from your room. Then I spoke to another guy who was from Irlam/Eccles, he was lovely really helpful.
Rooms are good clean. Kettle coffee machine/pods. Stairs to the room needed hoovering food crumbs on them.

Medium sized wedding venue set in a large teepee. Good for outdoor weddings. There's good food and the service was fine. Parking can be limited though and you might have to park at the hotel down the road.

We had our wedding here recently and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team, everything was just as we had wanted it and the team could not have done anymore for us - all of them were so helpful and made the day go so smoothly! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable

We stayed here whilst visiting family in Manchester. The location is very close to the airport but we didn't hear airport noise and it feels rural. The communucations/directions from the owners were excellent. The room (a Deluxe King) was a good size with a comfortable bed, bathrobes and thick towels. The tea and coffee (Nespresso ) were well stocked. The shower had good pressure and the water was hot. Breakfast was excellent taken in the farmhouse conservatory, we had full English but there were vegetarian /vegan and gluten free options, all freshly cooked. The price was very good and cheaper than an airport hotel alternative, we fully intend to stay again soon.

We had a deluxe king room in Room 2, thr Annex. It was small and the bathroom was tiny. The little electric kettle and teabags etc was in a very cramped position. There was absolutely no interaction with anyone, except for the very helpful chef. It was disappointing as being advertised as a farm house guest house we had expected a personal touch. Nothing.

The breakfast was very good and the beds were comfortable. It was very difficult getting our heavy suitcases up the steep steps to the room.

Also, the taxi fares were expensive, but reliable. Google maps shows there is a bus stop nearby. There isn't. We would not stay here again.
