Firstfull I would like to say all staff are very friendly. Warm welcome and lovley chatting during any treatment. I had done pedicure last year and it was super professional and last for weeks. Can't complain about that. Few times also I had full body massage and also I can not say about any negatives. Unfortunately my last experience it wasn't how I expected. Before my holiday I booked manicure in there. Such a lovley young lady did my nails, but unlucky for me she has quite poor experience (while booking I didn't use trainee option ). As at shop it looked not that bad with day light looks much worse. I attached pictures so you can judge for yourself if that is professional work. 8 days after my appointment while beeing on vacation I have already exchange my nails.

Another fab lot of treatments at Avoca - Safer Sun the salon and all the staff are so lovely. Always feel pampered and the prices are so reasonable. Reflexology with Stacey is so relaxing. The full body massage was really lovely. The facial and products used were amazing. I love this salon a real great find and highly recommended. Thank you Stacey and girls.

Best salon in Burton by far. Have been coming here for years and all of the girls are amazing at what they do - they're all so friendly and professional, and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Really bad experience with a bikini wax. Asked for a full bikini wax front/back, however was unknowingly booked in with a trainee who I was later told has never done an intimate wax before. The trainee spent over 45 minutes trying to hot wax the area in tiny strips, leaving lots of hair behind as well as globs of wax stuck which she was trying and failing to get off. She then acknowledged she was unable to continue and asked for the manager. The manager then came in, advised me the trainee has no experience of intimate waxing and was using the wrong type of wax and no oil which was causing me a great deal of pain with the wax sticking to me and not effectively removing the hair. She then took over and basically gave the girl a training session on how to correctly wax me… My appointment was at 7.30pm and it was past 9pm by the time I left. I wasn’t offered any discount or even an apology, and charged £28 which I now regret not refuting! Left feeling anxious and lightheaded after 90 mins of stop/ start waxing by 2 different people and knickers stuck to me with dried wax! Definitely avoid this salon for waxing!

I have been using Avoca spa for at least 5 years for intimate waxing and have never had a bad experience. I am always put and ease and made comfortable. They use a wax system called Lycon which is a lot kinder to the skin and you don't get that plucked chicken look. All pre-care and aftercare was explained to me when I had my very first session. The salon is very clean and has a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend.

Amazing hidden gem. It is actually huge and offers a massive number of treatments and beauty therapies. Loved the deep tissue massage. Staff are great, lovely knowledgeable and skilled. Would definitely recommend! Also brilliant for duo treatments as has a room for treatments for two.

Highly recommend. I’ve been coming to Avoca Spa for over 5 years now for Image Facials and eyebrow and eyelash treatments. The salon has such a relaxed happy vibe and I always look forward to going. As an over 50’s woman my skin has never looked in such good condition. Stacey Pickess knows her craft inside and out and can tell me exactly what my skin needs. Never oversells or pressures me into anything I don’t need. With a up coming wedding, I joined a make-up Masterclass today and Stacey has given me so much confidence in how to apply makeup and I’m really looking forward to my step daughters big day now.
