Absolutely the very best Indian food I’ve ever had. The standard of every dish was unbelievably good. Forget anywhere else; this sets the bar too high for the others to even get close.

So it’s Boxing Day and has to be a curry….so ordered a take away from the Saffron Fine dining restaurant. Met by Jay, had a welcome glass of coke and great conversation. Food options are great with so many gluten free options on offer. Good quality is superb it did not disappoint.

We found Saffron only via web search and not being from the area we had nothing to lose in trying a restaurant that we weren’t familiar with. I must say that the whole experience was a joy. The only downside was that we were not seated until 20 minutes after we booked but that was only down to how busy it was and it shows why in the quality of food. Would 100% recommended to anyone and if we’re this way again we will definitely stop by once again.

Have now had two takeaways and one dine-in experience of Saffron, and I thoroughly recommend.

Service is attentive and friendly without being in the way. Presentation of the food is fresh and clean. The flavours are amazing, and it is clear they use very fresh ingredients and make everything in-house. Atmosphere in the restaurant strikes the right balance.

My new favourite restaurant.

Not as good as I had hoped. The food was well presented but didn't blow me away. Generally rather bland and the medium to hot dish was incredibly mild (less hot than the samosa). Whilst the waiters were friendly, they weren't the most attentive. Lovely interior though. But just mediocre experience overall.

Ordered tonight & it arrived quick but unfortunately it was terrible, all the chips were at the bottom of the bag because they were so greasy the paper bag had fallen through. There was a thick layer of oil on one of the dishes and the onion bhajis were swimming in grease. Called the restaurant up and explained, they sent a fresh order out promptly and it was the opposite of the first delivery. Food was fresh, far from greasy, piping hot and delicious. Customer service was great from the gentleman who took our order, complaint and both delivery drivers. Thank you for a lovely meal. Will definitely be ordering again.

We ordered a take-away tonight, it was exceptional. Beautiful blend of spices, perfectly cooked. Really friendly, cheerful delivery driver as well.
