Really large and tasty ciabatta club . Quick service considering how busy too - right on lunchtime.

Had a couple of lattes too , strawberry milkshake for the boy and a pretty large bowl of fries all in all decent size portions and well presented…. Yummy!

We had been walking on the trails nearby and was drawn to this cafe.
I went for the loaded jacket potato. Delicious. Potato was so sweet. The pulled pork with the rest of the ingredients were so yummy. So much so that we’ve found another excuse to come back tomorrow .
Staff were lovely and prompt with orders .

Not a bad place to stop if your walking or cycling along the trail but a bit expensive for what’s on offer, otherwise great quiet location with a fairly good selection of food, just a bit over priced in our opinion

I’m not one to complain, but our experience today was really disappointing. As locals, we were excited to support this bike hire company/cafe but unfortunately, the service was lacking. First, when we asked where our missing meal was, we were told it was "on its way," but they were "busy," despite only a few tables being occupied. The manager also got our order wrong, leaving one of us hungry. When we raised the issue, we were told we’d have to reorder and wait again as they had not actually put it through , which left us with no time to reorder before heading out on the trail.

To top it off, when we raised our concerns, we were offered a coffee or a piece of cake, which felt completely inadequate for the time wasted and poor service, the manager was very reluctant to offer this.

We were reluctant to hire a bike for £15 for just over an hour, which felt overpriced. When we returned the bike, the staff member had to inspect it but didn’t seem to know what they were looking for, wasting more of our time. The staff member who provided the bike also had no real knowledge about it, making the whole process feel unprofessional.

Simply put, it was their mistake, and if they had just rectified it by providing the missing meal and offering a genuine apology, we wouldn't have needed to leave such a bad review. We would have loved to come back with our family, but after this experience, we are unlikely to. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and we left feeling the service didn’t match the price. I hope this feedback helps improve things for future customers.

Really loved my visit today, it had a great relaxed atmosphere, coffee and rocky road were delicious and good price, perfect place to stop whilst on a bike ride as has plenty of parking, for cars and bikes, lots of outside seating, picnic benches etc. Staff were friendly and served quickly and with smiles. Would definitely recommend. 😁

Such a lovely cafe! Food was delicious, as was the latte! Will definitely be heading back here to try the breakfast menu next time we are passing! Unfortunately we were too late for breakfast today. But the lunch menu had enough to choose from, and we both enjoyed our selection. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and food and drink were served in a quick time. Thankyou to the team!

The location is great, and all the kids toys are a hit. Unfortunately twice in a row we’ve been disappointed with food. A few weeks back they got our order wrong and we were missing a breakfast. Another table nearby also got given something completely different to what they ordered. This week the chicken bacon ciabatta was disappointing. It’s £15 and you get a small side salad, a sad barely buttered ciabatta and about 8 crisps. My wife had chicken salad and the chicken was dry and the salad was literally a handful of leaves and a dried out bit of chicken, was £10. No dressing, nothing.

An amazing little cafe with the most wonderful, friendly staff. I had my 2 young children and dog with me and was made to feel so, so welcome. Often in cafes I feel like I have to be so careful and I’m always on edge with 2 young kids but these guys truly made me feel so comfortable and I’ve never felt so relaxed at a cafe!
Beautiful coffee and delicious cake- what’s not to love!
Can’t wait to visit again 😃
