This coffee shop is truly one of a kind and one of the few places in Kennington that captures an authentic essence. I originally discovered it through a dear friend who gifted me their favorite brownies from here. From the first bite, I was hooked, these brownies are that good! They’re so delicious that you can’t help but share them with others (or maybe keep them all for yourself, hehe).

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff are wonderful and everything feels thoughtfully crafted. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by

A nicely located Café right in the middle of Kennington with a rural feel and delicious food. Home made sausage is simply mouth watering and the cakes provide subtle flavours and healthy ingredients, some classic and occasionally some with an individual twist. The quishes are super fresh and are served with generous helpings of delicious salads. Coffee is good too. There is also a small selection of products to take home (jams, cookies,bread etc) rather expensively priced. As a whole the prices are fairly reasonable and the stuff young, artsy and enthusiastic. Only minuses are limited sitting space and very early closing times. In my opinion it pips Gail's to the post...

Amazing spot. Had good timing as there was a rush at noon hour. Grabbed the stuffed/ wrapped sausage and latte. Was unreal.

Good Oat Latte with yummy home-made brownie with raspberries.
The place is cozy with friendly staffs.
I sat on a church couch which was very funny.
Also bought a Sicilian unwaxed organic lemon (£1.5) with branches and leaves on it.
The shop is closed at 4:30 pm and the staff offered me a free Croissant🥐. What a surprise!

I normally don’t review but sitting 10 minute there was enough to convince me. Coffee was amazing, croissant was delicious, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

I went for lunch on a weekday while having work done on my motorcycle.

The food is good quality and is reflected in the prices. I had a sweet potato tortilla with coffee for £6.35. Both were good and the coffee was a reasonable size.

The store seems geared for takeaways as the cup was disposable and the tortilla was served in a plastic container, although I dined in. The store is quite small and I think there were maybe four tables inside and about the same on the pavement outside.

I decided to have a second coffee and carrot cake which came to £6.85. I reused my cup and was given a proper plate for the cake. I probably should have had the recommended chocolate brownie instead as I found the cake a bit too creamy.

The staff were efficient and helpful, but they did give me the impression they enjoyed chatting amongst themselves more than interacting with customers.

However Sally White’s is probably the best coffee shop/bakery in the area so definitely worth checking out.

Picking up a sausage roll from here on my morning walk is such a treat! Their seasonal chocolate offerings also make great cute gifts.
