I went in today for afternoon tea (cakes and drinks). There were four generations in our party of 8 and we all loved what we asked for.
The food is excellent, and the service is super (efficient, speedy and done with a smile on everyone's face).

I'm not local to this place (I live up in South Manchester) but have family down this way and will look forward to our next visit here.

Well, what can I say? A lovely tearoom/cafe that ticks all the boxes, welcoming staff, excellent cakes, coffee, etc. at decent prices. It's also dog friendly. Very impressive!

First time trying Sallys and didn’t disappoint. The cakes were fresh and tasty the pot of tea was perfect and the price was reasonable. The service was great and the girls were incredibly helpful & polite. Can’t wait to return and try their wraps.

I visit Sally’s Café in Otford about three times a week, either on my own or with my family, and it never disappoints. The amazing team—Ruby, Georgia, Becky, Ruby May, Claudia, Sally, Ellen, Saskia, and Georgia II—always create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They go above and beyond to make every visit feel special.

The food is excellent, and I love my personalized “Brazilian breakfast” of three perfectly poached eggs, smoked salmon, a slice of granary toast, and avocado. It’s prepared with care every time and never fails to set me up for the day. My son can’t resist the lemon drizzle cake, while my daughter Sophia reenergizes with her favorite flapjack after horse riding training. And, of course, hot chocolate is a must for the kids!

Saturdays are a highlight at Sally’s, as it’s the regular meeting spot for my son’s football team after training at the Otford grounds. The Dragons bring a fantastic buzz to the café, and it’s wonderful to see the sense of community that Sally’s fosters.

Whether it’s for a quick coffee, a hearty breakfast, or a family outing, Sally’s is a staple in our week. The food, service, and atmosphere are all second to none. If you haven’t been yet, make sure you stop by—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you to the team for everything you do. Go Dragons!

We were staying locally and wanted to explore the local area. We came across Sally’s using Google. Parking in the village is easy ( we parked in the village car park - Sunday’s are free). It’s a 2 min walk from the car park. The tea room is beautifully decorated, with that vintage feel. It’s evident that the owners have put a lot of thought into the decor, with a canopy across the ceiling and flowers decorating walls and arches. The menu and quality of food is everything you’d expect from a tea room. The service too was amazing. Portion sizes are generous as we ordered afternoon tea. Plenty of sandwiches and cream& jam for the ready sliced scone. Nice little touches to the presentation too. Well worth the trip if you like a quiet, well appointed afternoon tea.

I’ve been coming here weekly (at least) for 3+ years with my kids, which says enough on its own. It’s so sweet, the food is lovely and the cake choice is staggering. The staff are all lovely, really helpful and so amazing with my children. It’s a real credit to Otford to have such a lovely cafe.

Sally’s Cake Emporium is a gem! The tea room offers the best tea and the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had. Everything is freshly made, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. Highly recommended!
