Very disappointed we were expecting much better. Host and staff Very friendly but room not satisfactory. No toiletries at all no hairdryer. Towels Very dry. Breakfast not good as we specified gluten free but was not available.

First night of two and certainly not disappointed, the rooms are fresh, very clean and modern set in an idyllic location, the staff very friendly and helpful as are the locals and to top off an amazing breakfast to start the day, a lovely little escape.

Room was OK but a bit sparse on furniture for what we thought and booked was a deluxe room, admittedly very comfortable, but not quite what was described, needed chairs, bedside cabinets and lamps as none in room, rest was good, breakfast was ok but could do with fresh juice and a little more variety but was OK, sausage could have been better all in all good stay and if improved would stay again

At very short notice, this organisation accepted us, as a family of 15, for a one off prearranged evening meal.|When we arrived, our table have been all set up for us and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Our pre-orders were delivered to us in a timely way and we have to say, this meal was probably the most enjoyable meal we have had throughout the whole of our five days stay in the area. It was all very reasonably priced and good quality. We will definitely visit the salmon leap again when we are next in the area.

Didn't stay in the hotel part , but called in at the pub, ending up staying for tea. We both had steak pie. Absolutely perfect , plenty of meat. There's not many places where the locals welcome you as much as the owners. Only here for 5 days visiting but we will calling back here for sure.

Good value hotel in a perfect location. The room was immaculate and very spacious, nice beer garden and Sean's breakfasts were lovely.||Bus stop and train station very close(both 2mins) and the park and ride only a 5min drive for anyone who wants to go into Whitby. Sean's very helpful and has created a nice friendly atmosphere within the hotel. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return
