We had a lovely meal at the salt house restaurant last night, to celebrate my husbands graduation. We sprung a last minute request for a bigger table as 3 more family members wanted to join us - we were quickly accommodated. Staff went out of their way to meet our requests and were very patient taking our large food orders. Good set meal choice and reasonable priced.

We stayed at the Salthouse two times during our recent visit from the states.We had the Marina view both times,beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable,staff is amazing,helping us with all our needs.Arranged taxis,brought ice,room was cleaned,and room service was the bomb!!!
We ordered breakfast and dinner and all times the food was hit and super delicious. We only had one slight complaint and that was of the showers and the design.The water leaks out while showering and causes a mini flood.This apparently was a flaw in the original design of the building.Nonetheless we loved this hotel and would highly recommend a stay of any sort. We stayed at two other hotels during our stay and this was our favorite.Well done you guys!!!

We had a lovely stay here. We arrived very late, and found out they knew it was our wedding night so we got upgraded. Beautiful view from our room, and easy location. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great.

This was our second time staying at Salthouse Harbour and like the first, it was great. The service is top level and the room was of a high quality - with a lovely view over the harbour. It was nice to sit in the glass fronted reception area with a wine/cocktail. The location is great - with bars, cafe's and restaurants on the doorstep, and about a 10-15 minute walk into Ipswich town centre . We were B&B and the breakfast was really good. We will be back

Stayed here for three nights whilst we explored the area. The room was brilliant with a lovely view of the quayside. We arrived early enough to be able to get a parking spot. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the general decor was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here again if in the area.

Enjoyed a great one night stay in this hotel on the marina. The staff were super helpful and friendly, room was a good standard for the price with a view of the marina. Really good breakfast as well. Would definitely stay again if travelling to Ipswich.

A perfect stay from start to finish. Welcomed by extremely friendly and professional staff, who parked the car for us, we were able to check in ahead of time, and store our luggage securely beforehand. The rooms are extremely large, with a comfy bed, sofa and large bathroom. It can get slightly warm at night depending on the time of the year you are staying. So we did use the fan provided with windows open. The only let down is the curtain doesn’t cover the entire window, so you will get woken up by the light in the morning. You can also hear people in the rooms above walking about / shutting cupboard doors. No USB plug sockets, so ensure you bring plug chargers for any devices. Breakfast was fantastic with a large range of options and drink prices were affordable. We recommend taking some time for a drink outside. It is a great view of the harbour and a nice setting. We will definitely stay again

4th stay at salthouse harbour hotel. We come every year in October to visit family. The staff at this hotel are amazing, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are also so cosy and the beds give you a dream sleep! I've had breakfast here twice and that is also amazing! Cocktails are really nice in the downstairs bar! Look forward to our next visit ?
