Lovely old small hotel. Carefully restored to maintain the period features but with modern facilities. It's lovely and peaceful being out of the way. The room we booked had a bit of an issue with the shower but the staff were very helpful and let us move into a larger suite when the shower issues couldn't be resolved. We loved that it's a fairly small hotel and therefore not noisy. Food was amazing and all the staff were great. We booked the swim dine and stay deal and it was great value with dinner bed and breakfast included. Fortunately the weather was warm enough for us to enjoy the outdoor pool. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quality location and a peaceful and romantic break. Thanks again to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

BEST. DAY. EVER - 10th May 2025, our perfect wedding day, all thanks to Saltmarshe Hall and the amazing staff.||I don't have all of the right words to explain how beautiful and perfect our day was. I could not fault anything about our day. From the rooms, food & drinks, grounds, staff and everything in between. The Saltmarshe team could not do enough for us and all of our guests. All questions were answered promptly and everyone knew their order and "jobs" on the run up to us saying "I do".||Ashleigh in particular - She feels more like your wedding bestie than your wedding co-ordinator. From our very first visit to Saltmarshe for a look around, Ashleigh made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She showed us around the whole Hall and from that moment, we knew Saltmarshe was the place for us. Nothing was ever too much for Ashleigh - Always keeping my nerves at bay on the morning of my wedding and reassuring me when I didn't even know I needed it.||The grounds of Saltmarshe and the Hall itself are absolutely perfect in every way. The dreamy backdrops that both indoors and outdoors provide are something else (luckily, the weather was on our side too), and all you could wish for when it comes to your wedding photos. The most timeless, elegant, homely feel is just what we were looking for and it delivered! My professional photos speak for themselves - Just LOOK at them!!!||All of our friends and family loved the grounds as much as we did, and everybody felt so comfortable. Special shout out to the chef, as absolutely every guest we've spoken with has complimented how amazing the food was from the canopies to the main meals and evening burgers!||Thank you again, to Ashleigh and the rest of the Team at Saltmarshe Hall - For helping us to create and bring to life our most perfect day, and for the BEST PARTY EVER!||Lots of love - Mr & Mrs Hall xxx

Four nights break spent in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful site and gardens. All well maintained. Why not 5 stars all the way? There were issues, particularly one night, with insufficient staff to cope with the number of diners and at times finding a representative was challenging. That said, they were always helpful and did remunerate for the poor service. The food is excellent, We would certainly consider another stay.

A beautiful country house set in peaceful surroundings with ver pleasant sitting room, bar and dining room. I had dinner my first night which was very good and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would happily visit again.

We had the most gorgeous lunch here. We experienced the bottomless brunch and all sat outside in the rose garden. The gardens are just beautiful and so well maintaned. The food was beyond delicious and all staff so polite, kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble! |I have visited before for a wedding, yet never just come for lunch. We will be booking a return visit soon, so lovely to enjoy such a nice afternoon.||Thank you Saltmarshe!

We only visited for Sunday lunch. Food was lovely. Hubby would have liked a bread roll with his soup. Otherwise no complaints. Got to speak to the mark ( I think) he was full of information about the house which we are interested in. We will definitely be back to stay. Well done to all the staff. You are a credit to the hall.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are so lovely to walk around. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was also delicious! The room was so comfy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house and gardens that have been tastefully renovated with lots of attention to detail. The food was superb and we were able to eat outside on a warm summer evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
