An ordinary cafe that did ordinary food at very good prices. Double cheeseburger and home made chips for only £6. Staff were very friendly and quick. Would definitely visit again when next in the area.

Popped in for lunch this afternoon.
Incredible value for money, I had the pie, chips and mushy peas (the pie & chips were homemade) and my husband went for the full English breakfast which was huge. This, along with a couple of cans of juice cost just over £13.
The service was warm and friendly and the place clean. Highly recommended!!

Great Cafe with good wholesome food; best bacon sandwich I've had for a long time. Sam and his wife who run the place are very friendly with a great sense of humour. The place is in a building with alot of history as shown by the Bishop Auckland's Heritage Plaque on the exterior wall.

Foods good nice and hot I just fancied sausage egg chips and beans bread and butter very nice will be back to try other things menu looked cracking as well worth a visit if you want good home cooked food which I love

It's a cafe I've visited with my family as a small boy & now with my own family & friends. I previously met Sam's parents who started the business & now its Sam's family. Lovely atmosphere.?

I had a full English breakfast, what a treat the food was lovely. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The prices were very reasonable! There was a steady flow of customers all seemed pleased with what they had eaten. Well worth a visit!
