I would travel all the way to #otley just to come to this? Not just a #bookshop. I first went for a #writing retreat and had a #blast. I had my #mooncards read and then had to write about it. I spent 3 hours #writing and I never write. Mark the owner is a #yogi, do I got to rest a little in his studio. It has such a #zen feeling to it. Mark loves #india and you can see that in his studio. He even plays a weird harmonica type of thing!! Anyway I have to watch what I’m doing in this shop. It is easy to spend £20. My favourite drink was his #chai, but I also like his #dahl and #tumericlatte! I also need to mention the lovely #Niamh and #Ben the flowerpot man! Did I say that they all say scone as in Gone, even # Mark who technically, might be a leprechaun, because… he is always in a rush and so popular with the ladies!! I wonder if my walker friends popped in today? Look for the colourful door to the right of the bus station and make sure you try his lemoncurd #icecream! Delish. Happy #writing and #reading and #quijonging! Oh and #zoe the writer is amazing and thought provoking too. And did I mention that #Niamh is a Tik Tok star? …well she is now!’

The coffee was good, but our group on a first visit found the place chilly. All doors (2 upstairs and the entrance downstairs) were propped open. The entrance is quite unwelcoming, being a solid door and an uninviting staircase in need of some tlc. It would help if it had a glass entrance door and an upgrade of the staircase area. Or even better for those with less mobility, a lift! Better heating in winter plus self- closing doors would help a lot.

Fantastic place and staff! The cafe is just as relaxing as the Yoga room. Chill vibes, with lots of books to read.

They serve real nutritional food and no processed garbage. Their Coffee is also amazing, and locally sourced.

I visited the lovely bookshop/cafe for the first time yesterday. It is a really relaxing,. tranquil space with windows that look out over Chevin. I sampled coffee and a cake, which were delicious. The main dish meals sounded good and very nutritious, so I will be back to try them. The carefully curated books around the space have something to interest every body, especially if you are interested in nature or spirituality. I’m not particularly but I found plenty I wanted to look at. This is the nicest cafe I’ve found in Otley and I hope their business goes from strength to strength.

Well worth a visit,the coffee and food are excellent, it has a great atmosphere very friendly, if you've not been try it, there is also a great selection of books.
