Well this is our 2nd time here , as we came a couple of years ago.. ues we r here now , and as b4 the owners do an amazing job ,so friendly, helpful with a great breakfast and the guesthouse and room are very clean A++++

This guest house is the best in GY we were so lucky to get in for a couple of extra nights when we decided to stay a few days longer Joan the landlady is so friendly and welcoming and even remembered us from 2 years ago when we were staying here. Breakfast is superb with a varied menu. Rooms are light airy and very clean, comfy bed.

Just back from an overnight stay here. Jo was very friendly and welcoming. Made sure we had all we needed.
Room was lovely and bright and airy. Had all we needed. Wardrobe, chest of drawers, tea/coffee, TV, even a fan which came in handy. We had a toilet and basin in our room (room 4), use of shared shower room which was fine as it was just a few feet away from the room.
Nicely positioned for easy access to seafront.and the breakfast was yummy. Plenty of choice.

Lovely, well-kept, clean, and tidy rooms with a brilliant breakfast! Free wifi. The street parking worried me I might not be able to park close enough but had no problems finding somewhere very close. Seated outside smoking area, which made a nice change from a lot of places who dont cater. The owners were lovely which makes a big difference and were fantastic with the children too. I will be going again!

We stayed there for one night as we booked last minute and had a pleasant stay.

The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to the beach and close to town centre. There is parking in front of the guest house and included in the price, you just have to let them know your registration number. Our host Jo was lovely, and we had a warm welcome.

Our room was quite small, but it's nicely decorated and had the essentials - tea, coffee, shower gel shampoo, etc. Unfortunately, the bed wasn't comfortable for me and I didn't sleep very well although the room itself is quiet. There might be some creeking noises when someone walks in the corridor but after all, it's an old house so it's understandable. As mentioned in a few previous reviews, the WiFi isn't great, it was too slow.

The breakfast was okay. It's a typical English breakfast, with a vegetarian option, tea or coffee. There is also a cabinet with a small variety of juices and pastries that you can choose from.

Overall, it's great value for money, with good location and service.

Just got back from from night away (much needed break from the kids! 😂) ||||Property from the outside was clean and fresh. We arrived a little early and the lady was very welcoming. Instantly felt covid secure as sanitizer available and masks also available also. We explained that carparking was a little bit of a challenge and Instantly got a residents permit for 24 hours and some top tips on the best places to park (mainly side streets), we were parked up within minutes. ||||Room was very cosy and very homely! It was lovely and clean we decided to have an early night and there was everything we needed. Free WiFi, TV and a very comfy bed! Great nights sleep! ||||Breakfast was AMAZING! Lots of options and tasted great and had the opportunity to have a lovely chat with the lady again (sorry didn't catch her name)||||Can honestly say, nothing I would change and it feels they nothing is too much trouble I am looking forward to visiting again as soon as I can! Thank you! X

I would throughly recommend Sandcastles. I stayed here with my partner for a short break in Yarmouth. ||The room was spotless and had everything we needed including en-suite toilet & shower. The guest house itself was also modern, bright and clean. ||The breakfast was really good value and very tasty. There was also a ‘room only’ option when booking if you didn’t want to include breakfast.||The hosts were very friendly and gave lots of information about the area and recommendations of places to visit/eat. Especially useful as we visited off-season. ||You were able to come and go as you wanted from the guesthouse. Keys were provided so you could get in if returning late. There is a small honesty shop in reception with snacks if needed. There is WiFi at the property which seemed very reliable. ||Location is great, just a very sort walk (2 mins) from the sea front. All the tourist attractions and shopping are also very close by. In fact we didn’t need to use our car during our stay. ||The area seemed quiet and we felt comfortable walking around the area late at night. There was parking available on the street outside and we were provided with an electronic parking permit. ||The overall value, location and of course the hosts make this a great place to stay.
