Our first visit to Sandymouth. Great site, lovely welcome and even a welcome pack for our dog. Caravan immaculately clean and very well equipped. We were out and about every day so didn’t use the on-site facilities but there was plenty going on and dogs were welcome everywhere too. There is a beach very close by but probably too far to walk. This campsite was a great base to explore the area. Would definitely recommend and we will no doubt visit another site in the next year.

Another fantastic holiday at Sandymouth. I think this is now our 7th visit! We got into a bit of trouble when my car wouldn't unlock after a coastal walk to Bude. The team were fantastic helping with anything that I needed and also driving me back down to check on the car ( a bit of a hard walk back up from sandymouth bay to the caravan park so I was very thankful). They helped so much providing me with a working landline to contact the RAC and nothing was too much trouble.
Check in can become busy especially during half terms or peak season but the team are great. The caravan as always was clean and tidy. We love the onsite restaurant, fantastic food and reasonably priced. The swimming pool is book only but we booked within an hour of deciding we wanted a swim so it was perfect. The onsite entertainment is fun for children and families. The beach is beautiful....a bit of a walk down and up (but due to car issues we did this twice). National trust car park at the bottom, the attendants are friendly and welcoming and there is a cafe at the bottom. We did the coastal path to Bude twice, an easy walk and only takes an hour. A fantastic spot and we can't wait to book again!

Came home Monday from a lovely stay at this park. We came 5 years ago for the new year but the weather wasn’t on our side so we always said we wanted to return in the summer time to explore Cornwall. So this time round We visited for our son’s 8th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to decorate the van with banners and balloons for us on our arrival. It really made ours and our son’s weekend. The park is peaceful with lovely views of the sea. Food in the restaurant was 10/10. Would definitely book again.

This was our first visit to a holiday park like this with a toddler and dogs and we were impressed. The facilities were great - the soft play was immaculately clean and we had it to ourselves a lot. The pool was great and no problem booking. Good dog walk out the back. Food in restaurant was good and not too expensive. The view is beautiful. We didn’t have the weather to use the splash pad but it looked good.
The staff were so helpful- especially Sue on reception who let us check in early with a very tired toddler and was extremely helpful and friendly.

The site is quite with indoor pool, night entertainment and small shop in reception. The staff are brilliant. Had a problem with water pressure and they came and fixed it within minutes. I personally wasn't keen on the restaurant food. Walking to beach was out of question for me as I have a disability. So be prepared to pay for parking everywhere if you can't walk hills. Very calm and relaxing environment. I'd definitely recommend. Only gave 4 stars on location because I'd have liked to be closer to a beach that I could walk to. Accommodation is vans and lodges. Clean and tidy

We just wanted a quiet break for a few days, so went just before May half term. At that time, the site was really peaceful. We could just sit in our caravan, enjoying the view (see photo) and listening to the birds and sheep. If you're fit, the beach is just a mile away - the view means it's uphill all the way back! If you're a National Trust member, parking nearer the beach is free. Bude is only a short drive away.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our meal there on our first night.

Stayed in one of the beach shacks. There's only 4 on the site, but there's many other offerings to suit all tastes and needs. Great views, excellent facilities in the unit, couldn't be happier. They're called shacks, but don't be deceived, they're fitted out with dishwasher, fridge-freezers, oven and microwave and full shower room.

Couldn’t fault this place.we stayed at Pencarrow 2 view. We Arrived at reception and was given a map which was easy to follow. Our lodge was clean with all the essentials you needed toaster kettle microwave full fridge freezer. There was tea, coffee, sugar, and milk to make some drinks on arrival. There was also a tea towel sponge and washing up liquid and a dishwasher. We had clean towels in our room and the beds were made. We had a beautiful view of the fields, sheep cows sea. There was a vague dump smell where I think there had been a leak from the bathroom at one stage, but it didn’t affect our stay. We did use the restaurant but I didn’t really like the food. The vegetables were the best thing. The bar arcade and entertainment area is well kept with plenty of seating we didn’t use the pool but there is one and there is outdoor play parks for children and an indoor play. The beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk down the hill which we did pop down and just have a look at. Bude town Centre is about 10 to 15 minute drive away nice little place with another beach which we did also visit. There is a shop within the entertainment reception area, but it’s very small so I’d advise to buy your shopping before you get there like we did.
