Sargeants catered for my parents 50th wedding anniversary at the weekend & did so well.
Despite heavy downpours the barbecue was a great success.
Lots of food available, salad, coleslaw, all the condiments, vegetarians catered for.

We booked John for a summer wedding BBQ, we wanted to eat at 3pm, John and his crew turned up about an hour before and food was ready bang on 3pm as arranged. The food was good quality and there was plenty of it. The ice cream bike was was a great addition. I’m hoping not to get married again, but if I did then I would definitely book John to do the BBQ.

I celebrated my 30th a week ago and instead of having your normal party food that let's be honest usually gets thrown away! I decided to have a hog roast/BBQ and what a great choice I made!! My guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. Compliments from everyone and also praising John and his wife Janet for their great set up and service. Guests were taking photos of the fantastic display. Not just a hog roast either, we had a selection of burgers and sausages for those fussy non pork eaters so they didn't miss out on any grub. Great choice by me choosing to have a hog roast and excellent choice to have chosen Sargeants Northampton to cater for my party. Highly recommended

Sargeants did an amazing hog roast last night for my husbands 50th birthday party, the staff were amazing people, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us and the food was beautiful. All of our guests loved it! The staff and the food added to make our party that bit more special. We shall definitely use again and highly recommend.

Sargeants provided a hog roast for our wedding reception..
Fantastic food, everyone commented on the generous portions and beautiful taste.
John and Janet are friendly and professional, and really helpful in providing extras for guests that didn't eat meat, and provided halal chicken for other guests, even though I asked them last minute!
Highly recommended.

The one star is for showing up.

I am contacting you on behalf of my sister who's wedding you attended on Saturday 24th November. Firstly the venue called us 12.30 asking where you were which got everyone in a panic, we arrived at Poppy's Place just before 3pm to see a table set up outside with bowls of coleslaw, salad and rolls all uncovered. According to the bride this should have been inside the venue as it was requested for the food to be served indoors (due to it being late November) and some clingfilm over the food would have been nice? Then when the actual Hog Roast was served it was chewy and freezing cold, if there had been any hot gravy even that would not have saved it. Then the next disappointment was the Roast potatoes, not only had they clearly been cooked the day before ( tasted stale) but they were absolutely stone cold! The apple sauce was more like pie filling. The whole thing totally tasteless and a massive disappointment.
When she told me the cost was £600 I could not believe it I understand you need to make a profit but not at the expense of someones wedding day?
Will not be recommending Sargeants Hogroast

My husband booked Sargeants services months in advance and spoke with John of Sargeants only 2 days before our joint 30th birthday celebration where all final details were discussed and agreed and we were told he would arrive at 1pm. He failed to show, did not accept/return any phone calls/voicemails and we only knew he would not be attending when we received a refund via PayPal (excluding deposit!) at around 3pm. We had 50 guests to feed!! We intentionally booked caterers so we could enjoy our celebrations and ended up stressed/unable to relax as we tried to feed our guests. How a Company can do this to people is beyond me! Beware!

Sergeants Northampton Hogroast provided part of the food at my wedding reception on the 7th April. Everything was fantastic, people went up several times so they could try everything on offer and the people were so polite, friendly and helpful not only on the day but also in the run up to it.

Will definitely be using this company again in the future and recommending it to everyone I know.
