Like stepping back in time to when shopping was an experience. These guys are next level. There’s cheaper cakes and pies, but not better. Special shout out to Barbara. If every shop was like this the high street would have nothing to worry about.

You can't go wrong with Satterthwaite's.
The selection is wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful, the cakes and bakes delicious and the prices very reasonable.

We have a lot of bakeries by my house in South Liverpool, all very delicious. However they are very much patisseries and pastry based and, in my opinion, you just cannot beat an old school bakery like Sattherwaites.

The Meal Deal! £6.00! What a deal. There were three of us and we each chose the deal

My Scouse Pie (hot) was beautiful, and my Smarties Brownie was perfect! The coffee is great, and from a local roastery

It was busy when we visited for takeout lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. We visited at the beginning of the week

Brilliant artisan bakery love the pasties and proper pork pies with gelatin, staff so friendly and engaging and also a simple effective on line ordering service if you want a big order.

I love this place! My partner loves their pork pies - they have ones with either apple, pickle (Branston type), chorizo or black pudding. I'm a fan of their steak pies and cheese and onion. Their barms are amazing. As are their Bavarian cakes. I was so pleased to see them back open and I really enjoy my visits (I don't eat in). The staff are always very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
