Family member fled domestic violence to end up here and is being verbally abused and discriminated by the manager and the security guards on a daily basis infront of her children. Security guards making threats at her so she feels unsafe and scared for her life and is also discriminating against her child disability

This place is absolutely disgraceful!!! The staff are AWFUL & constantly watching every move, considering this is a hostel for temporarily homeless people, it is more like you are in a prison rather than a hotel!! I have seen the way they speak to people residing there, it is disgraceful. They don’t value no privacy, you get shouted for talking on the phone in lobby! Even though rooms have no service!! BUGS EVERYWHERE! You can’t step one foot out of the room without having big brother watch you!!! this place needs to get reviewed by the council ASAP!!!

Not a hotel, but a property Birmingham council is placing people for temporarily accommodation. Surely should be stated that it isn’t a hotel, but a HOSTEL. Towels are dirty and have stains on them, bedsheets have stains on them as-well. Rooms smell, and have cockroaches. Shayne from management is absolutely awful, and unfair to every tenant in that property it’s like a jail. No visitors or family members allowed, or even health visitors. Shayne breaches GDPR, there is no privacy in this hotel. Cameras outside room doors, in the kitchen area and even in the lounge area absolutely awful. Shayne watches on camera everything everyone is doing, and every move. Surely that is very disturbing, to be watched continuously. I cannot convey strongly enough how disgusting this place is, stained headboards and doors that have clearly been up since years and not cleaned. The week I stayed here, I ended up with some sort of rash due to sanitation conditions similar to those of a homeless crack head.

myself and my wife and our 13 year old son stayed at Savs Hotel for a year and a half while we were homeless one person who i personally would like to thank is the Indian bald security man he was most helpful and polite and he always went out of his way to talk to myself and my family as for the manager there he was okay but difficult to understand as his English was not exactly the best for the first few months there was this lovely Russian lady who was the cleaner she was always most helpful but unfortunately she left and they brought in a new cleaner who was very rude and disrespectful, apart from that our time at savs hotel was pretty much great

Less of a hotel, more of a temp accommodation for homeless people. Serves a great purpose. Limited parking outside. Good location for amenities. Security on door.
