Swimming pool is normally dirty alongside the changing rooms. Sometimes the swimming pool smells like urine. Staff are good, but the swimming pool is generally very cold and sometimes dirty inside. I can’t recommend this place; it’s gone downhill, and they do not maintain the building or the swimming pool.

Ever since this gym was taken over by Everyone Active it has gone downhill. There are no staff around to keep an eye on everyone - surely a duty of care is of high importance. No one around in the office to ask. Some of the equipment is out of order for ages or not maintained. No wipes in the gym now for at least 4 days to my knowledge but could be longer. I asked the manager about it and she said she'd just come back from holiday and was sorting it. But surely that's just a matter of stocktaking being done not anything to do with being on holiday! They need to pull their socks up as losing customers all the time. Of course the subscriptions continue to go up. Very disappointed ?

My son is a junior member of the gym and his (already limited) sessions are frequently cancelled due to staffing issues. I’ve emailed management numerous times, who are apologetic, but despite their promise of ensuring these sessions are covered.. the cancellations continue.

Turning up to be told it’s cancelled is very frustrating! So we now ring the gym before setting off to check the sessions are actually running, to avoid anymore wasted journeys.

Shame, as staff are nice and the gym equipment meets his needs. But, I’d not recommend.

I've been swimming here three times with my 2 year old son. On each occasion we haven't got the experience we thought we were getting. I've been really careful to pick a swim which would work us. The latest one was I picked a public swim where "everyone is welcome" and it's in the main pool (previously the toddler pool has meant chattering teeth for him despite full body swim suit). When I get there literally three quarters of the swimming pool were barriers off for aqua aerobics session, leaving one swimming lane for "everyone". Us paddling about annoyed everyone so definitely didn't feel welcome. Moved to toddler pool, teeth chattering again, could barely move because a third was of it was barriers off for a swimming lesson. Every time it's been something like this. Despite recent upgrade to booking system it's still almost impossible to tell what is happening in the pool at any given time. It's a shame but got to go elsewhere now

Everyone active have slowly cut the public swimming sessions to basically one hour on a Saturday and nothing until Sunday evening without notice and without a reduction in membership price. Diabolical. It was better off under SLL management!

Decent pool. Spectator area far too hot. Swimmers saying the pool too hot too. Must have money to burn!

The staff here are great, always friendly and helpful.

HOWEVER - there's a nice new sign saying 'No outdoor shoes' by the pool entrance (to go with all the other ones), but nobody does ANYTHING to enforce this! There's mud (and other stuff) around what should be a clean area - and this just adds to the overall tired / uncared for appearance of the pool area.

Not nice.
