Thèse folks are in the right line of work. They are warm and welcoming and the place is cozy. Our bed was the best one of our entire trip. This is by far my favorite B&B of our Hadrian’s Wall trip. The breakfast was wonderful as well-fresh fruit and whatever else you need. Lots of good coffee and tea choices. If you arrive in time for dinner-I recommend The Star Anise-a wonderful Indian restaurant.

We booked this B&B quite late as our original place we booked couldn’t find our booking.||We were so glad we did. Scotch Arms Mews is the most wonderful place, an old coaching inn that has been sympathetically converted into a brilliant B&B. ||Room was comfortable, there was an honesty bar which we took full advantage of. There are communal areas where we could get involved with conversations with other walkers and other spaces if people wanted to keep themselves to themselves. ||Breakfast was a buffet and very good. ||Dianne, thank you for the best stay of our trip and… We will see you next year.

We booked The Gables as 4 friends to attend a local birthday party. The apartment is gorgeous, lovely large rooms and very comfortable. We had a lovely Christmas tree in the living room. Everyone really enjoyed their stay 😊

Comfortable and convenient B&B with the warmest welcome from Dianne. While walking Hadrian’s Wall Path, this was refreshingly different as it had a comfortable lounge where we could enjoy a takeaway and a self-service honestly bar. Things have certainly changed since the negative reviews in 2017! We definitely recommend staying here.

An absolutely charming B&B in a quintessential English market town. Dianne is the perfect hostess, radiating warmth and hospitality. It’s ideally situated right in the middle of the town and a short trip to Hadrian’s Wall and Vindolanda for exploring Roman ruins. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely go back!

We broke the journey from the north of Scotland to the South of England, going a short way from the motorway. Very comfortable and welcoming. In the lovely town of Brampton and near Hadrian’s wall, so could enjoy a meal and a quick trip in the countryside.Nice bedroom and comfortable sitting areas and a bar. Very good breakfast.

Great spot to stay as part of the Hadrian's Wall hike. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Able to organise taxis and luggage if required.

Rooms are clean, simple but good. Electric shower with surprise pressure. Breakfast is a good size and packed lunches were fantastic!!

Very much recommend and a must is to visit Howard Arms for dinner.

We had a great overnight stay in Diane’s lovely Courtyard Apartment. Communication before, during and after check in was excellent. The apartment is tastefully decorated, new and modern. The rooms are large and bright, well equipped and spotless.
I’d definitely like to return and would recommend most highly.
