Portions were huge!! Such a cute little cafe, staff were really lovely and went above & beyond. We loved this cafe and will be back again. Veggie options available too! Cakes were delicious

We found this coffee shop purely by chance but what a chance find it was. Staff were lovely and the food was of exceptional quality and value. Toasted sarnies were our choice with the chips upgrade for an extra £2 per sandwich. There was a small wait for the food to be delivered but it was most definitely worth the wait. The menu had plenty of choice with Jacket spuds,pastas and specials on the board. There was also a big selection of cakes and sweets in the display case. We plumped for toasted sandwiches.The bacon brie and cranberry was without doubt the best ever and the ham and cheese was up there as well. The chips were skin on and cooked perfectly (not greasy). The salad was lovely, especially as it wasn't ruined with a dressing (in my opinion). Next time I'm in Ross on Wye, I will be going back.

Warm welcome, friendly staff. Place has had a revamp and looks fresh, the outside has lovely canopies - nice to enjoy in this still summery weather.
I had jacket potato with cheese, and I asked for no salad and they listened ! A generous portion . Mum had Mushrooms with hummus on toast with poached eggs - delicious.
We both had Passionfruit iced teas- all very tasty 😋 and a white hot chocolate sprinkled with cinnamon 🤤
Highly recommend. Our fave cafe in town. You must go visit !

Nice little café with a good selection of food , that was clean and kept on top of as people were leaving . Staff were polite and friendly. Walking down the street, you could miss this place as it is set back in a courtyard

This is our favourite coffee shop in Ross. It's light, airy and spacious, food and coffee delicious. It's also the kind of place where you can sit and read a paper for as long as you like without feeling they want you off the premises. Two friendly and attentive waitresses - and a loyalty card, buy 9 hot drinks and get the 10th free.

This was my second visit here. The first time was early in the day and they were moderately busy. Everything was pipping hot straight off the griddle.
Yesterday was a different story. I visited with a friend at midday. They were very busy, but it still only took two minutes to produce a full cooked breakfast and there in lies the problem, it was reheated, tough and not very hot. The eggs were the only thing freshly cooked but unfortunately, they were burnt underneath and slightly runny on top. The bacon was like leather, the sausages and mushrooms were very overdone and nothing was very hot.

Highly recommended. We checked a couple of other cafes in Ross before finding this beauty. Quality food and drink. In contrast to the others, it's a good-sized cafe with plenty of tables, not hemmed in. Separate kitchen, so nice to sit without steamed-up windows. Good service, well-trained staff who know what they're doing. Keep up the good work!

That's certainly one of the best coffee Lounge at Ross on Wye. The small breakfast indeed is quite big to me. Food is hot, and made with a sense of home. The cappuccino is just perfect. Staff there are friendly and always wear a smile on their faces. Absolutely a nice, clean, quiet and comfortable environment for a hearty meal with a sip of coffee there. Highly recommended and will definitely re-visit.
