Mum and I came here for breakfast. We got here early and it was already busy but, because there is plenty of seating split between upstairs indoor, downstairs in the covered terrace area and outside (almost on the beach!) it didn't feel busy.
My breakfast was lovely. Yes ..it's expensive compared with other venues, but I knew to expect it when I visited, and eating your breakfast with a sea view is something a bit special.
Service was great - we didn't have to wait long for our food. Mum has been visiting here for years and it was really nice to see her being acknowledged by the lovely lady who served us.

Visited Sea Lane Café today for the first time and was highly impressed with the variety of cakes and selection of vegetarian cakes as well. I had the Lemon Meringue cake which was delicious. Highly recommended place to stop for a coffee & cake.

Very popular place, amazing sea front location and views, free parking too. Due to it's popularity it's very busy and noisey. The food is absolutely lovely so leave plenty of time for your visit .

Really great venue - right on the sea shore with outdoor seating and now indoor space has been enlarged for cold days.
The food is of a consistently very high standard and obviously much appreciated by the many customers tucking in to delicious sandwiches and salads.
We would always return here, never been disappointed yet.

Such an amazing cafe with a view and super dog friendly. I think every other table had a dog, which was lovely. I had a latte and a bacon butty, both were hot and delicious.

One of the best beach cafes hands down. And now with an all year round permanent conservatory on the front. The food is excellent and the cakes are to die for. Go visit you won't be disappointed

Visited here a number of times, the last being on Sunday 1st September. As always, the food was excellent and I can highly recommend the bacon, brie and cranberry panini. Despite how busy it was, queues were dealt with quickly and professionally, and the food arrived quickly and was top notch as always. The menu has something for everyone, and the selection of desserts is good, again catering for most dietary needs.
The atmosphere both inside and outside was good and friendly, and the staff were quick to turn tables around, meeting the pace of the day. Again, with how busy it was, the seating areas were clean and organised, with attention to detail paid by all the staff.
I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm looking forward to the next visit.
