Brian and Abby are amazing hosts and make your visit special from the moment you arrive. Every detail is catered for and they had reserved us a parking space ready for our arrival. We stayed in room 3 with a fabulous en-suite and stunning views of the Abbey and sea. Our fridge was stocked with fresh milk and chilled water and our hot drinks selection was complimented by some of Brian’s delicious fresh baked Parkin. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided excellent advice on places to visit and eat. Breakfast was exceptional with a superb choice of alternatives alongside fresh fruit, cereal, toast and Brian’s selection of home made preserves, in short perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Brian and Abby made our visit memorable and special and we would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit

Absolutely fantastic stay here for me and my wife. The 2 people who run the place, Brian and Abby just could not do enough for us, very very friendly and welcoming. The full English breakfast was spot on, with toast, tea, coffee, fruit juices and cereals.....The rooms were very modern, a lovely comfortable bed and great shower. They had also put milk in our fridge for our initial tea or coffee and 2 bottles of water. I don't know what the view from the windows in other rooms were like but ours ( and if I recall was No 3 ) was glorious, a magnificent view of Whitby Abbey on the hill. Also a great sunrise in the morning over the Abbey to which I have attached photos.|| Thank you so much Brian and Abby 😁💪😉😀🥰

We stayed here just for one night - wish it could have been more! We had a lovely sea view room (number 3) which was spotlessly clean and with many thoughtful touches, such as binoculars, fresh milk in fridge, home made cake etc. The bed linen was good quality and the bed super-comfy. ||The house is furnished with some fabulous art deco furniture and accessories which give it real character and interest. The location is perfect with easy access to the town and the sea front. ||A lovely breakfast with quality ingredients and with the cooked breakfast served piping hot. There were some excellent unusual options such as kippers, omelettes, as well as fresh fruit, home made jams and the usual yoghurt, cereals etc. Breakfast also came with some added entertainment from a few interesting characters on the next table - all part of a British B&B experience, I think! Clearly the owners have many, many return and loyal customers and that probably says it all. Thank you both for a lovely - but all too brief - seaside stay!

Very clean, tidy and comfortable.Breakfast has got to be world class. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with nothing too much trouble for Brian and Abby. We will definitely come back.
EDIT09/09/22 Just returned from another short stay at Seaview, and again everything was perfect.Brian and Abby excel at what they do. Many a hotel would struggle to come anywhere near their standard. Best wishes to you both for the future, Ian and Michelle Barber.

Absolutely stunning. Brian and Abby were great hosts. The room was spotless and the additional touches made it a perfect.
The breakfast was prepared from locally sourced ingredients and was of exceptional quality. We are definitely going to go back and would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

Great B & B, lovely Seaview room with binoculars provided. Great hospitality from Brian and Abby with information on local area. Breakfast the best one we have had in a B & B, top quality food and lots of choices with big portions. Parking permit and help finding a space. Lovely few days couldn’t have chosen anywhere better.

Just got back after staying a few nights it was our first time staying at the Seaview Guest House & it was fabulous. Brian & Abby were true gents who were very polite & greeted you with a very warm welcome. The rooms are excellent & the breakfast is to die for we will be defiantly seeing them again next year.

Excellent service. No shabby furniture. clean and tidy. One of the best places I have stayed overnight. Excellent view of the sea and the Abbey. We were late for breakfast by 20 minutes but they still accommodated. Thank you Brian and Abby for making us feel so comfortable in your company.
