Recently visited Secret Valley and stayed in one of the lodges with my toddler and Labrador (one of the reasons I chose this site - dog friendly). I feel the site met all of our needs. Plenty of space for the toddler to explore and run, plenty of space for the dog to run and peace and quiet for the adults (and a hot tub). The site is beautiful and there is wild swimming in one of the lakes. It’s a farm so expect country life …. Ps the wine is great from the vineyard so be sure to purchase.

My wife and I recently hosted our Wedding at Secret Valley, and we cannot recommend this place highly enough! The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the organisation of the Wedding and on the weekend itself, big shout out to both Lucy and Will for being so great! The venue is absolutely stunning, the lakeside made a really special place to have our ceremony and the barn was the perfect blank canvas to realise our dream of a festival themed wedding! The accommodation options are all brilliant, with all the amenities you need to have a very comfortable few days. The wine they make is top notch so I can also highly recommend getting a bottle (or three) of the rose!

If you are thinking of hiring this venue either for a wedding or an event, or even just to stay for a little getaway, you won't regret it!

We have just spent a fantastic weekend at the Farm, hosted by Farmer John. It's excellent, clean, beautiful and relaxed. I can recommend the farm tour with wine tasting, absolutely stunning views. A top class getaway that is a must to visit

Amazing relaxing place to go. Our third time staying, but first time in a lodge and we had an amazing time just me and my husband. Was very romantic just want we wanted. Lovely calm walks and animals and wildlife to see, and then back to relax in a spotless lodge with a hot tub which we both fully enjoyed. We can't wait to come again for longer this time as only stayed the night. We don't live far but you feel like your somewhere else it's truly breath taking, we watched the sun coming down and got some amazing pics. Staff was very friendly honestly couldn't ask for more.

Thank you so much for a really wonderful weekend. It was a return visit for me and my boys, and we loved it just as much as last year. You provide everything to keep all ages very happy - plenty of space to roam around, comfortable and well-equipped wigwams, lots of play equipment, kitchen and dining space for wet weather catering, spotless loos and showers.

Honestly, I can't think of anything you can do better.

Very much hoping to return again next year and to bring along more friends!

Myself and my partner stayed here for a weekend away in a shepherds hut and it was fantastic. The staff were so accomodating with our booking, so easy and lovely to deal with, and the venue was beautiful. We stayed in October and it was really peaceful....the hot tub, burgers and wine were lovely. Highly recommend 🙂

My girlfriend recently booked a romantic stay in one of the Shepherd Huts at Secret Valley for my birthday. I've never stayed in one before and the whole hot tub experience was new too.||We both had such a wonderful time during our stay. The hut was already invitingly warm on entry, there were towels, a little fridge, kettle, microwave, lighting, and a small table as well as a fire.||Outside there was a table and chairs, BBQ, deck chairs and a hot tub. There was a degree of privacy from the nice trellis and clematis. Other huts were far enough away that we were less likely to be disturbed or us disturb them.||The separate toilet/shower building was a few steps away from the hut and completely immaculate clean and modern with a fan heater too.||We had such a magical time together, which yes I concede had a lot to do with the stunning weather, but we really enjoyed the little hut and it was very peaceful.||Yes for a short time we did hear the pigs in the morning nearby, but as had been pointed out, they were actually squealing as they were being given their breakfast and so were rather excited. It didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay.||Easily worth 5 stars, it was just so lovely and it will be a wonderful memory for us.

Some very minor things that would make it even better. A little more trellis for extra privacy would be nice. Better cable management of the appliances, the positioning of the sink in relation to the toilet was less than ideal and could be improved. A dustpan and brush in the hut would be useful for small spills. There is a definite need for a shelf on either side of the bed for items such as spectacles, a mug, medication etc. Lastly, maybe don’t have the bed on wheels to avoid it moving easily.

Stayed for a couple of nights from 23/07 in the quantock wigwams As a first experience of glamping we were very impressed with the site and the facilities. Some lovely walks around the farm and stunning views. Really peaceful and relaxing location, helped by the fact there were only about 5 other families on the entire site, so we had use of the games room to ourselves in the evenings. |Very well maintained and clean |Would highly recommend
