Have been going to Serene spa for about 7 years for my waxing which tells you my thoughts on it! Fatima is fantastic, she's super efficient, makes it as painless as possible and is very fast. I've even been when my little one was 6 weeks old and he decided that was the point for a feed (classic) so Fatima even managed to do my wax whilst I was breast feeding - efficient to the max!
Everyone that works there is a delight, including the owner who is so sweet (and it's always lovely when an owner pours themselves into their business!).

I’ve been coming here to wax for 2 years and always have an enjoyable and welcoming experience. All staff are friendly and approachable and VJ & Fatima are very skilled with waxing, making sure your wax experience is as pain free as possible. Make sure you book your wax here!

I have been going to Serene spa since I moved to Balham 5 years ago. I regularly go for waxing and the treatment is always amazing! Fatima is the fastest beautician you can meet and VeeJay (VJ? Not sure about the spelling) is just the most lovely and talented beautician you can hope for. She is such a nice person and her waxing is almost pain free. I went today again with my 7 month old daughter who didn't sleep for 1 second and everybody was very nice and helpful. Especially VJ as usual, she made me feel very supported when I was trying to manage the baby while she was waxing me. Definitely recommended for any waxing service!!

Honestly the service was exceptional! I was quite late, when I phoned to notify them, they were extremely polite and welcoming, this continued even when I arrived. I was welcomed and directed to the room.

The moment you walk in, you feel a huge sense of relief and calmness. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, I could've fallen asleep. The rooms are nice and dim and squeaky clean.

I had my wax done by Fatima and sje was so lovely. We had a lovely conversation and she did an impeccable job. I am honestly beyond pleased with the atmosphere and the service. I'll definitely be making this my regular waxing spot.
