Excellent visit to this popular spa. Facilities are great and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The treatments are first class and should leave you feeling relaxed. Restaurant on site offers delicious food as well as a roof terrace bar. Plenty of relaxing to be had !
Can't take photos in the spa, so here's a couple of the entrance..

I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday today with a summer spa package. The facility is very clean and modern. We received fresh robes and a bag for the day, and were given a tour of the various pools and lounges. The spa features a large indoor pool, outdoor infinity pool, two small outdoor jacuzzis, two steam rooms, two saunas, a therapy pool, two cold plunge pools, a quiet zen room and rooms for facials and massages.

While I enjoyed the experience, there were a few disappointments. The outdoor jacuzzis were much smaller than expected, with old wood and a mucky location. The corners were slimy for some reason. The infinity pool is very small, accommodating only five people at a time. The zen room was lovely when empty, but despite signs indicating it was a quiet room, it often got noisy after treatments when people returned. On a positive note, the Ozone restaurant was fantastic, and the pork bao buns were probably the best I’ve ever had!

I had a 60-minute Ishga facial and massage by Beth, and it was amazing. I would return just for the massage! Overall, it was a good experience, but a few small improvements could make it even better.

The second visit to the spa and yet again we had an amazing time. Staff are welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk through the door. We had a treatment each in a double room, and both ladies were lovely. Massage was amazing. Very helpful, and not pushy to buy products they use but are helpful if you do want to. We had a 2 course meal in Ozone, OMG the duck was so good. The food there is excellent and again staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Will most definitely recommend and we will be going back soon. Thank you, Seaham Hall

Shocking staff in restaurant area, so much so that we put the menu down and took ourselves off to somewhere else for lunch.
Not hygienic in my opinion that guests who were having spa days were sat in restaurant in dressing gowns and slippers and god only knows if they had any clothes on underneath. Yuk!!
Pretentious people who clearly have no idea what customer service means.
Beautiful location though. Cannot comment on rooms as I didn't stay, thankfully as I would have been very disappointed.

We went for a spa day and it was a lovely experience.
The facilities are great, the massage was great, the atmosphere was also great.
Everything is clean and tidy.
The staff are attentive and helpful.

My only reason for not giving a 5☆ review was the hot tubs outside were not very warm and were a bit dated, also the infinity pool is tiny for the amount of guests, but there is still plenty to do and enjoy.

I would highly recommend giving the serenity Spa a visit.

Fabulous spa experience - so relaxing. Plentiful spaces to spread out. The treatments and massages are all done with full consultation beforehand. Staff are all excellent and totally customer focussed. Ozone Restaurant serves really nice food with glorious views out over the Hall's gardens. The rooms are all excellent - not cheap, but excellent.
The only eco move that is dubious is the move from single use plastic cups (agreed) to paper cones. Cups are fit for purpose; the cones really aren't and the spillages around the water/drink dispenser is evidence of that...maybe a rethink?

Everything is perfect. Room, clean, and comfortable. Lots of little touches make it worth every penny. Candle, nibbles, fresh milk ect.
All staff are excellent and attentive and kind.

Great spa, pool and restaurant but the nice little touches have disappeared like fruit around pool and plastic water glasses also nuts and seeds from zen room. Disabled facilities are available located near pool. Staff are lovely. Beautiful smells in the air and relaxing music.
