Had the chance to stop for lunch and as there was a table outside opted to sit in the sun with a nice cold fanta.
I ordered a hot beef sandwich with chips and wasn't disappointed, a good chunky home cooked beef sub with a generous portion of fresh cut chips smothered in around half a gallon of gravy, I really enjoyed it.
The lady serving was very nice and seemed to know many of the customers, some who were waiting outside for takeaway which I took as a good sign.
I would certainly go back😋

My friend suggested meeting here and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed a rich strong Americano each. The desserts were great! I had crumble and custard. Really generous portions beautifully plated. They let us stay on chatting after other customers left. Really homely. Would definitely go back.

This is a wonderful place for a coffee - a snack - or a main meal.
Everything cooked freshly with generous portions and a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes.
It used to be on the East Side of the village as part of the garden centre but migrated to the centre during the lockdown - we serendipitously rediscovered it on a stroll about - the manager remembered us from 3 years ago - we had just gone in for a coffee but couldn't resist the savoury treats on offer hit beef baguette with onions and gravy with salad for my wife I had the same with added chips which I ranked as high as the Chester Moor chips - which is my highest accolade.

I had these for my husbands 70th just before Christmas. The food and service were fab. I then used Seventeen for the venue and had a high tea/party for my Mam's 80th. Again, the food and staff were fabulous. The before and after care are next to none and the staff go above and beyond. I also like to point out that they were in the middle of a referb and still went that extra mile for all of my guests and my needs. We have since been for a meal and also for Sunday lunch there and loved those too. Well done to all the staff and the owner. All fresh and home cooked food! This place is so worth a try.

Lovely cafe. Excellent food, hot chocolate was gorgeous with a mountain of marshmallows. Superb chips and a great selection of tasty puddings.
Would recommend booking a table in advance if you are a larger group.

Absolutely delicious home cooked food. I went for the first time today to eat in with my 2 children, the staff were lovely and attentive even though they were very busy. Portions are massive - I shared with my 5 year old which the staff were more than happy about (some places can be funny). 2 main courses, 3 drinks, 3 cakes and a coffee for £22.50. Will definitely be returning soon.
