Warm welcome with friendly staff, the food was nice and priced accordingly. The room was clean and had the facilities that you needed. For ÂŖ60 per night for 4 people you can't complain I would definitely stay again

When we arrived we were welcomed very nicely. The breakfasts were really good and plenty of it. Food in the evenings was also good. Found it a bit strange that there was not anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom and had to hang them on the clothes rail in the bedroom. Apart from that it was an excellent stay.

Awful bathroom - odd taps, extreeme force from taps spilling over the basin soaking floor on each use. cold shower, corroded shower door, . Paper thin walls, could hear guest talking all night.
Shocking omlette breakfast - incorrect order...poor quality. Certainly not freshly cooked.
Staff polite but insulting owner- referencing poor quality & cutting corners.
Poor wifi in rooms

We had a family meal here. Everyone was friendly, welcoming & and helpful, especially to those of our family members who have dietary requirements. The food was excellent.

The place is scruffy and unwelcoming with peeling paint and broken exit gates that remain open and car park entrance. Inside the bar and restaurant areas the decor and fittings are tired and depressing. Our room was noisy being at the top of the stairs from the bar. I would have thought booked last year as I did we might have had a better room. It was like walking backwards into the 70/80s . fittings poor, decor poor, mattresses poor. The bathroom was even worse just very very dated and poor. On arrival we were advised the shower didn't work but gave us a key to use another room to shower in which was along several corridors, we didn't bother. This is my second complaint to Marston's in 3 days. I am on a visit from Spain. Always used your hotels before , standards have fallen, never again.
You staff were wonderful, they deserve a better environment and the food was good

Perfect place for our weekend getaway. Great service from the staff team, good food and well presented rooms all for really competitive prices.
Highly recommended.
Top of our list was the breakfast which is great. Especially the service from the early team who managed to eclipse their later shift colleagues. Exceptional service from Carly who is a superstar and a worthy winner of the voucher for best service (even though she was so modest about her work).
We really enjoyed our stay. Its really well located within walking distance of Poole Town centre.
Highly recommended
