I had a pleasure of staying in this hotel for 4 nights. This was a birthday trip for me and it was my third stop after Cannes and Sanremo. My whole trip was organized around 5 star hotels and this one didn't disappoint. The room was pretty large. It had all the amenities you needed, including heated toilet seat. The management had a small cake for me and "Happy Birthday" was written on the glass window. The view from my room was amazing. I would enjoy my afternoon tea on a comfortable chair overlooking entire London. I was also able to use the pool and the sauna on 52nd floor and that was another experience by itself. The bed was comfortable and the service was top notch. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Our waiter Moussa was great. He took time to explain things to us since this was out first time participating in an afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the display was a wow factor. We also ordered a passion fruit/vanilla cake beforehand to celebrate a family occasion and Moussa was kind enough to wrap it up for us since we were full from the all the sandwiches, scones, and desserts. We were a bit saddened that the waiting area was closed off (which is where you could take pictures of the wonderful views), but we were able to snap a few from the bathroom (which had a great city view as well). LOL!||Overall, it was a great experience. It is pricey but worth the cost in my opinion.

I loved staying at this hotel! All the staff were incredibly kind, especially the concierge who checked us in (I forgot her name) and also took us to our room to show us around and explain amenities. She also tried to help me as I had lost my phone after just arriving, very kind!
The bars and restaurants were so lovely as well with amazing views and most of the staff tried to accommodate us with the seating we preferred (beside the views).
Overall I would definitely stay again and recommend others to! A lot of the staff do take that extra step to make the experience memorable and beautiful.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful rooms with all of the ammenities, fabulous views and lots of attention to detail. I was there to celebrate by birthday, and nothing was too much. The views were incomparable - even if the London weather didn't play ball!

Dined at Ting for my husband’s birthday and we had a great evening. Probably a little overpriced (but this is in the Shard after all) and the menu is a little limited. Rahul was our host and he was fantastic - very accommodating and attentive. Great service!

Noni at the sky lounge is the kindest. Our experience felt so much special having him serve us. The lounge has spectacular views and great service. The drinks and food were of great quality! Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back soon

What an amazing experience!|Pink afternoon tea for my birthday.|We were treated like royalty by our server Moussa. He was very friendly and professional and made our visit very special. |The food was delicious and the cakes and tea just kept on coming!!|The restaurant was comfortable and relaxing and all staff were helpful and professional.|As it was breast awareness month, all the food was pink - but very delicious. The view from the 35th floor was amazing, we could see lots of London landmarks.|Definitely recommend!

Our stay at Shangri-La The Shard was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, starting with the warm and welcoming doormen all the way to the attentive housekeeping staff. Every detail was taken care of with thoughtfulness and care.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the room — the views were absolutely breathtaking, easily the most incredible I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Waking up to panoramic views of London was unforgettable.

To make the experience even more special, the staff went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday, adding personal touches that truly made the trip one to remember. The level of detail and care in everything they did showed how much they value their guests. I can’t wait to return for another amazing stay!
