We have booked SHB Dining & Events as our wedding caterer. So far the experience has been amazing. As we are not looking for a traditional wedding breakfast, it was important for us to find someone who could deliver a bespoke menu. Anthony was open to our suggestions and helped us to create our Mexican menu.

We had our wedding menu tasting last week and it blew us away. Firstly the food was incredible. The venue was also amazing, with the table set up using the plates and cutlery that will be used on the day with additional options to see, so we could really imagine what it would be like. This was set up in a private room next to the kitchen where you could see Anthony preparing all the food, creating a lovely atmosphere. And to be able to prepare and serve so much food so quickly was truly impressive! Anthony had presented some additional options outside of our original selection that we were able to try. We changed our mind on a few options so this was really helpful to allow us pick and choose what we would like on the day.

Overall we all had such a wonderful time I would highly recommend for anyone to do the menu tasting.

Where to start…
From the very first menu tasting to the end of the wedding night SHB were faultless. The standard of food and professionalism from Anthony, Ruth and all the staff was outstanding. The menu tasting was an amazing intimate setting in the SHB’s own kitchen where we got to sample everything that was to offer and this gave us the opportunity to choose what we loved and exactly what to expect on the day. After this dining experience SHB had great communication with us all the way to the wedding day. The wedding food was out of this world, and everyone was raving about it long after! The canapés were so good the first thing I did when arriving at the reception was stuff my face with the Yorkshire puds with Beef (chefs kiss). The staff were lovely and very accommodating. There is no where else I could go to other than SHB and we will be recommending them to all my engaged friends.

We first met SHB at an open day at our wedding venue - Alexander weddings, the food they had to taste was amazing and after an initial chat with Ruth, we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding.
SHB had experience at our venue which we thought was really beneficial, as I knew I wouldn’t need to worry about logistics on the day and I wasn’t wrong, everything went smoothly.
We booked in for a menu tasting with our parents and tasted a few different samples of canapé’s, mains and deserts and from there we finalised our menu.
On the day, the food was just as amazing as I remembered from the tasting and was absolutely GORGEOUS! Everyone commented on how amazing the food was and I’ve had a few people message to say ‘I wish we could have that meal again’.
For me, the food was something I was so keen to get right at our wedding and I didn’t want a traditional ‘chicken dinner’ style wedding breakfast. The menu’s that SHB offer are personable, tasty and great value for money.
The staff on the day were exceptional and liaison with Anthony and Ruth prior to the wedding day was top class.
For anyone looking for a unique, tasty and quirky wedding breakfast I would certainly recommend SHB!

Huge thanks to Anthony and his team! We held a belated 50th birthday garden party in August, and with the help and advice of Anthony, was a huge success. The hog roast and side dishes were plentiful and delicious, the 'dry' bar was just so cool and exciting, and your warm, friendly professionalism throughout the whole evening added a wonderful touch to everything. I absolutely recommend S.H.B Dining and Events to anyone who wants a night to remember.

Anthony and his team went above and beyond to provide us with an incredible feast on our wedding day.

The service on the day was superb and we were honestly blown away by the quality (and quantity!) of the food.

All our guests commented on how amazing the food was, from the canapés, the starter sharing boards, the incredible meat sharing boards / sides, the vegetarian/vegan options, deserts, everything was on point and absolutely delicious.

A massive thank you to SHB and the team for the most amazing food at our wedding in April. The food was so delicious and plenty of it too. We still have friends and family talking about how delicious it was, saying it was some of the best food they have had at a wedding. Absolutely stunning food that not only looks the part but tastes fantastic.
I have been to 2 wedding in Yorkshire now where the SHB have been the caterers and on both occasions they have blown me away!
They have such a variety of tasty, colourful food options to choose from (I‘ve now tried their pizzas, hotdogs and wedding 3 course meal) - all delicious!
And to top it off it is all served with a smile with team members who clearly enjoy their work and have a passion for the food produced.
Would highly recommend!
