Took our caravan to this site. It's the 2nd time we have been. The site is excellent. Toilets very clean and staff on Reception very good, even lending me some sellotape to sort a problem out. Hill down into Hastings was very long but after 1st time of going up it we got used to it. It really is a lovely little site tucked out of the way of any noise. Will definitely be back. Thank you Team. Richard

Visited a lodge here for a week in June. To start with a few problems and niggles. Such as wrong keys for patio to name one. But after contacting reception and dealing with things after the holiday so not to spoil our break. I can truly say a great place to visit and stay. And a big shout out to millie and Juna. For listening to my concerns and dealing with them swiftly. Can highly recommend. And will be back there again in the next few weeks to try out the camping site this time. Thanks to all the sherbarn team.

Easter Bank Holiday - so you expect it to be busy. ||The park is located next to a lovely (and popular) country park - which does have its own car park - but charges Ā£2.60 for two hours parking - everyone visiting for their walks etc parks on the verges on the approach to the holiday park (the paid car park was empty!) - which you can imagine causes quite a bit of chaos at busy times (hence the park telling you in advance that the route to the park is restricted) ||We arrived at 1pm on Good Friday - so we had to wait in line in our van to get on to the site along with everyone else (there were people in the queue in their vans behind us - leaving their vans to walk to the check in point - which made no sense as you could not get any further until the vans in front had checked in - can’t do anything about daft people!) Check in nice and easy. Gate code given - pointed to our pitch site - lovely! |We were located on EHU hard standing pitch site ME25 - right opposite the toilet/shower block. Yes people walk through the pitch areas to get to the toilet - but most people bring wind breakers and the such like to make their pitch a little more private - it didn’t bother us in the slightest to be honest - most people friendly and non evasive.||Shower and toilet block, modern and clean (the showers were crap to be honest - water sprayed everywhere - top tip - if no one using it the disabled shower is much better - I never prevented anyone disabled from access to it at any point ) |Again the down side is other campers who quite clearly have no respect for others using the same facilities (I dread to think what their homes look like!) |The overall site was great - well kept - clean and today. |The play park was fine (again small bits of litter left by other park users - but the site staff did clear up daily)|The swimming pool was clean and tidy with 2 lifeguards - a nice environment. The pool is well used - but clean and tidy. It’s nice that kids can enjoy their toys in the pool (sometimes pools ban these things) It does get busy, so pick your time wisely. There is a shallow section for the little ones. The changing room could have done with being checked more often as was dirty and wet after being used, people walking in and out to use the pool etc - general use. ||There are 2 bars, the downstairs bar was small and pleasant to sit and have a couple of drinks and play a game of jenga (I won) well stocked and obviously looked after.||The upstairs bar, and restaurant again nicely kept. There is a very small soft play area, which is ā€œsuitableā€ for children up to the age of 10 years - well it’s not suitable for anyone over the age of 5 and sadly our 3 year old granddaughter couldn’t use it as it had a group of 10 year olds being boisterous on there. So we kept her entertained with colouring instead while we played bingo. ||Overall a great few days - I do just wish some people were a little more considerate of others (and taught their children to be equally as considerate) I would recommend this park.

Lovely holiday park, hidden away off the main roads. Didn't have anything to do with any staff so can't rate the service. Cute caravan/lodge, so minor damage but nothing major. Love the speakers in the ceiling! A great touch! Sadly the beds in the twin room were extremely uncomfortable. You could feel every spring and they all clonked when you moved!! Otherwise a pleasant stay

The pool is freezing Food was absolutely freezing aswell got food poisoning from the chicken strips.Lifeguards were rude to my son and his friends. The changing rooms are absolutely disgraceful. Lifeguards need more training and respect. The shop is very good the service is nice in the shop. Overall awful establishment. Lifeguards do better. My friends wife said, The beer is pissy

This campsite was extremely noisy with people playing loud music way past the 11pm quiet time. There were only 2 women’s toilets for over 50 tents with one of them being out of order. There was no toilet tissue or hand soap. We paid Ā£15 for internet that did not work. Very disappointing.
