Never having stayed there before and finding out the landlady had only just taken over the guesthouse we were a little bit apprehensive but we need never have worried as Kristina was a marvellous host who could not have done any more for us. The room was clean and the breakfast was tasty and well presented. Will definitely visit again soon.

The property has changed hands and is run by a lovely young lady called Christina. She is so welcoming and hospitable. Having a major food problem needing gluten and dairy free nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast is served at 8.30am. There was no rush beautiful English was served and there are various choices. The room was absolutely lush. I just can`t praise enough I will denfinately keep in touch and visit again. prices are very good.

My family and I have stayed here twice this year, both for 3 night mid week stays. Having travelled a reasonable amount, I have to say I have never been made to feel at home as much as I have by Christina, the lovely owner of this charming Bed and Breakfast. ||The building and rooms themselves are charming and brightly decorated, with an overall very homely feel. It its excellently located, minutes from the sea front, no more than 1 minute away from Regent Road, which has a very high concentration of places to eat, and a few minutes from a couple of convenience stores.||We also had full English breakfasts every morning (though other options are available) and each time it was delicious and flexible, as we were able to add and remove items at will, depending on what we fancied or how hungry we were.||The true stars of this business however are Christina herself and her wonderful staff. Aside from cheerfully seeing to all our needs, they all went above and beyond what you would expect from a bed and breakfast, even offering to help with everyday problems we may have had. From offering medication for a head ache, to using the business name to help out with problematic encounters with local restaurants or services.|| My mother has a back injury and sleeps much better on solid beds, upon hearing this, Christina was only too happy to offer the choice of any of her rooms that were currently free to see which one best suited her. Amazing service.||I could go on, but what it boils down to is that it was clear from the moment I first spoke to the owner on the phone to make my booking, that she puts the guests' experience first and does as much as she can to see that the stay is perfect, even more so than the previous owners. Christina has only been running Shemara for a short while, but even in such a short time she has lifted the business up and improved upon what the previous owners (whom I booked rooms with in the past) built.||Definitely recommended!|

I stayed with my young son at room 4 on the first floor. It had a single and double bed with plenty storage with fitted wardrobes over double bed. Clean shower and toilet. Tv. Tea and coffee facilitiesgood.. Room cleaned every day. Breakfast was lovely full English egg bacon sausage hash brown fried bread beans tomatoe toast, tea or coffee orange juice. Also cereal. Will accommodate your eating needs. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a central location.

Stayed here with my partner and daughter in room 4 and found it very clean and welcoming if slightly cramped but we expected that with a double and single bed in the room if we are honest.||The beds were very comfortable and tea and coffee with a kettle was provided as was a TV. There was plenty of storage room too.||There is WiFi available but be aware that not all rooms can receive the signal so if its import then its best to ask although there is a good cellular reception too.||||This is located at the top end of the golden mile just off the main strip and everything is easily walkable. Also its worth noting that guests have access to a private car park across the road which is pretty rare in this own.||||All in all its a great little guest house in a good area with private parking and is excellent value for money. We wont hesitate to book again.

stayed with my partner in room 5,was very shocked to find that there is a fire exit for the whole guest house in our room .room very small and the decor left a lot to be desired, double bed as hard as floor boards, not a very good night sleep at all .looks such a lovely guest house from the outside that`s why we choose it for our stay .i will be sure to ask to take a look at my room next time i stay any where again.....
