I had the pleasure of staying at this hidden away haven. I was greeting with a big smile from the owner at the gate and being a solo traveller I immediately felt at ease.

The accommodation was warm, beautiful bed linen and all the amenities.

Fabulous walks and local pubs. Perfect place to rest and recuperate for me. Sit by the lake in the evening if you choose to.

Great location for everyone a solo traveller, families or to go with friends.

We have recently acquired a rescue cocker spaniel and this was our first trip away from home. For us, it was excellent in all aspects. Teddy looked like he had been there all the time - he settled in very well. From the moment Georgie greeted us we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and being so close to a good and varied walking area up Ham Hill. When we return to the area we will have no hesitation with staying here again. Thank you, Dean and Georgie.

I had the most wonderful week at this beautiful site. It was just what I needed, quiet, rural and most of all totally relaxing. I went on my own, with my little dog. It was ideal for her to be able to run around happily. Nothing was too much trouble for Dean and Georgie, they looked after me so well. I had a lump in my throat when I left and will definitely be back next year. I felt really safe there on my own, knowing the owners were close and security around the site was awesome. Well done both of you, i can't wait to see you again.

Stayed here with my husband and three children and we had a wonderful time.
Dean and Georgie were wonderful and so welcoming. It rained a lot but that only made us all the more cosy in our little hut. Took a little stroll up into the woods in the evening and it was magical.
Such a beautiful little place and we can’t wait to return! 😊😊

We would absolutely recommend Shepherd Huts Ham Hill!
An absolutely perfect location right at the foot of the country park so brilliant for walks, especially if you have a dog like us.

Dean and Georgie were fantastic hosts, really genuine people who made us feel so welcome and have a good laugh!

We arrived very early before the check in time but nothing was too much trouble and the hut was prepared for us and cleaned to a very high standard, we look forward to visiting again!

Our family stayed for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. Really clear directions were provided prior to our stay, we were welcomed warmly upon arrival, and checkin was quick and easy. The hut was very clean, well equipped & warm. Perhaps would also benefit from having a Microwave. It is located in a beautiful rural setting and has a spacious bbq area. First night we relaxed under the stars, it was very peaceful, just with the crackling sounds of wood from the fire-pit. Some of our family joined us for a bbq on the 2nd day of our stay - we were blessed with lovely weather, and it was the perfect nature setting. Just across the road is a lovely woodland, ideal for hiking. The village nearby is stunning. On our last day we headed to the coast to Durdle Door - about a one hour drive away. Dean and Georgie were super helpful during our stay. Would definitely go back, and recommend to others.
