A fantastic local cafe, centrally located, with a varied menu.

Very clean surroundings, with attentive and engaging staff, who’ll guide you through the various options available.

Plenty of seating, although it can get packed at busy times….which is a testament to its popularity.

You can substitute up to two items of any set menu dish.

Decent size teas and coffees, with all the usual condiments on the tables.

Food comes freshly cooked, popping hot and with generous portion sizes.

Good quality bacon, cooked well, with amazing top-quality sausages. Eggs cooked to perfection, super-runny!

Would highly recommend and will be going again.

All this food eith drink included was decently priced, they eagerly took my order and it was a lovely atmosphere. My only criticism would be that they did not ask how the food was when it arrived, rather waited till I finished. So I could not voice any concerns or items wrong with the order without having to take it up to them in front of a crowd of people. Other than that it was great!

Amazing place to eat if you are on keto. I’ve been struggling to get keto friendly lunches when I am not home but they got me sorted. I had poached eggs with avo, chicken, bacon and grilled tomato- delicious!!!

Popped into Short and sweet today to collect our take away. Very good service . The lunch time take away was ready at the time I requested when I placed the order over the phone in the morning. The food was really nice and tasty.
