We have just had two nights here and it is the best place we have ever stayed in Peterborough. It felt luxurious with lots of detail to make life comfortable that are missing elsewhere. For instance directional bedside lights and a night light in the bathroom to save putting the powerful lights on which wake you up completely. Apart hotels are just so ideal with cooking facilities as we don't always want to venture out in all weathers. Everything was perfect here and we will return.

Stayed here for a visit to the theatre & it couldn't be more convenient for the theatre as it is on the same road. The room was a good size & very nicely decorated. There was ample parking. It's an easy walk into town for the shops & for the cathedral.

I recently endured an extremely unsettling experience at Signature Suites in Peterborough, one that not only left me feeling unsafe but also deeply dissatisfied with the way both Signature Suites and Booking.com handled the situation. This was, by far, the worst accommodation experience I have ever encountered, and the follow-up was even more appalling.||Signature Suites operates as a self-serviced apartment, meaning there is no staff on-site to assist with check-ins. Instead, you communicate through an intercom system and are instructed to retrieve your room key from a communal area where all the keys—along with room numbers and guest names—are left out in the open. This raised an immediate red flag regarding security, but things got much worse.||I left for work around 6 pm, returning later that night at 12:30 am. Upon arriving back at Signature Suites, my colleague realised that he had misplaced his room key. When we called for assistance via the intercom, we were informed that no one could help us immediately (which was understandable given the late hour) and that we would have to wait. Using my key, we gained access to the building and sat in the foyer to wait for help.||To our shock, we noticed keys laid out for the NEXT GUESTS, complete with their ROOM NUMBERS and names. Thinking they wouldn’t work; we tried the key labelled with my colleague's room number—and it unlocked his door. This revelation was horrifying. It meant that while we were out, anyone could have easily accessed our rooms using these unsecured keys. The thought of someone entering my room while I was out, or even worse, waiting inside for my return, was terrifying. I have never felt more unsafe in a hotel or accommodation.||When I reported this to reception the next morning, I was stunned by their response. Instead of acknowledging this glaring security flaw, they blamed *us* for using the key to access the room, which was, in fact, ours. They showed no concern for the safety risks their practices posed. Since then, they have ignored all further communication, and Booking.com has been unable to resolve the matter, citing the need for Signature Suites to respond directly.||This lack of accountability and the complete disregard for guest safety is appalling. I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice, as the security measures in place are deeply flawed, and the customer service is non-existent.

We stayed in one of the deluxe suites for a super last minute weekend break. The apartment was absolutely spotless and the facilities were great. So many nice little touches, specifically the kitchen supplies. Our stay was really private, though if we needed anything, the staff were always polite and attentive. Excellent location, less than a 15 minute walk to the busier part of town with restaurants/bars etc. Definitely will be returning.

Wanted a little get away this weekend and I found this hotel to be the perfect location. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to hotel rooms but I just couldn’t fault it! Clean, tidy and great service from all staff. It’s not too far from the city centre, is near by to Peterborough’s new theatre and was able to enjoy my visit there without the worry of costs to get home. I found the whole hotel to be very stylish, my cup of tea😄.

Plus points: the room was very nice, modern and the bathroom was beautiful. Check in was easier and the key card system was easy to use. Adequate parking was useful. Locations is good, easy access to the town.

Cons: Our room did not have an opening window. Unfortunately we stayed at Signature Suites and on the 2 hottest days of the year so far so had to prop the door open. This wasn't ideal given the location was a fairly busy side road. Fans were handed out on the second day. No instructions for the microwave oven made it impossible to use. The room was far smaller than what we expected.

Me and my partner stayed over the bank holiday weekend and we was so excited because the reviews were so positive. But unfortunately it was such a disappointing stay the room was freezing because the heating wasnt working. The AC unit was only blowing out freezing cold air. The kitchen sink was so tiny and in such an awkward position. Then to top it off there was no hot water and the water pressure was so low. The shower water was droplets. Every time we reported it we kept repeating ourselves and reception said they have reported it to the engineer. But the problems were not fixed. The reception said we would have to wait until we check out until we can see what they can do for us. Then the day we checked out on the bank holiday monday we spoke to the manager which she decided to talk to me through an intercom so I had to tell her to come and to reception which is very bad customer service. When I explained to the manager the time of stay we had then her response was well you could have went to another hotel. I was like that a poor response who has money to just be spending on hotels. Then she suggested that she would give us a full refund for the 3 nights we stayed so I told her let's do it now and she said no I will do it later take my word for it. I asked her ok but can you send me a confirmation email to clarify this because we are travelling from london and I dont want to chase you for my refund. She kept saying no just take my word which is to me means nothing and as a hotel if someone offers you a refund you should process it there and then it was a holiday I wanted to get over and put behind us. My partner said let's take her word so we left and drove back I didnt hear anything from the manager. I had to message her late evening to query about my refund and she text me back saying I have processed your refund for only 2 nights. So I text her back I thought you said you was going to give me a full refund as you suggested it neither me or partner didnt say nothing about a full refund. She hasnt replied I text her back again today and still no reply. So in a sense we took her word for it but she didnt keep to her word. It was such a awful stay and the customer service of the manager was appalling not to mention she lied.
