Been around 8 times now and gets better on every visit. People very friendly and conversations can be made with anybody. People of all ages, races, body types, with no judgement from anybody. Everybody who visit find it easy to relax and feel comfortable. Facilities though a little dated, work absolutely fine and always available. Swimming pool is of a good size and depth too. In the summer the outdoor area is private and nice to sunbath and relax. We haven't experienced the food or hotel facilities but for a day visit we absolutely love it. |Me and my wife are now frequent visitors.

Having been going to the silverliegh Spa for many years, mainly during the summer months and occasionally for couples nights and or parties, it pains us to say but we've slowly watched the place fall into decline, staff drinking during the day , staff shouting at each other or acting loud and unruly and generally making the place a very uncomfortable experience for customers who pay and go there to relax, couples nights been replaced with kareoke which is fine, but not really ideal if your heading to a spa to relax but it is acceptable as we can easily relax in the spa area if it gets to loud, its the lack any proper hands on management that is somewhat distubing and allowing the place to feel more like staff party, a smile goes a long way and picking up la bit of litter is surely more important. The facilities are dated but fine , the two gardens are perfectly maintained and ideal for us as one is a non smokers garden. Used toilet rolls sit discarded in the toilets for days, breakfast is a shambles and a seemingly toxic environment has been allowed to develop there this year, The place desperately needs management as we know many people who haven't gone back this year and joined other spas but we have continued to stay we witnessed staff being very rude to customers on more than one occasion who like ourselves these are paying customers who want to escape their day jobs and relax not be cleaning stuff up themselves because staff don't want or can't be bothered or are to busy.
Customers should be made to feel comfortable not the polar opposite because staff are sat drinking with regulars or other staff. Hopefully management may take a look around the place and make some changes because the customer base will soon be lost and it would be such a shame as we've loved it there for many years, it's totally obvious to anyone who attends there they need a manager or someone of authority who can keep the place clean , hygienic, a safe environmentt plus a bit of commob sence and respect as most of the customers who go are there far longer than the staff who work there, very very disappointing to see the customer is always wrong in this once lovely establishment. Management need to speak to customers more, or just employ a competent manager

How this place has so many 5* reviews is beyond me.

You can see the potential at Silverleigh but clearly the elderly owner has given up on the place.
Room was extremely dated and grubby.
There was toothpaste left in the skin, stains on the bedsheet and when I mentioned this I was told they had been changed before I got there, and just to make things worse there was a used condom left in the room!?!

When I went round to use the facilities, there wasn't any products to wipe down/ clean between uses in the rest room.
I witnessed a man saving his head and pubes in the steam room ?

Despite paying for a room, I couldn't bring myself to stay here.

Ben the accountant is NOT a member of staff or security and shouldn’t act like it; there’s a reason some people are suited to being front of house vs back of house. Being rude to 21-26 year old girls is NOT a good look for your business. Making patronizing, snarky comments in conversation is not a way to socialize. I personally will never be back solely because of him.

Steve, Libby and Nicky are the best! He makes the best food and the girls make the atmosphere so fun/entertaining especially when we feel like all eyes are on us around “creepy” older men.

Excellent place, was not our first time going there so knew what Friday night was about, Hot tub an pool was great, atmosphere was unreal and wife had her first massage which was thoroughly enjoyed, Lets just say she had wonderful hands and left her with a big smile and totally relaxed for the rest of the experience that we had

My first time at Silverleigh today and what can I say this place is amazing. I went on my own and was made to feel welcome by everyone. No funny looks being a single male which you get at other venues just lots of pleasant naked people enjoying being in an environment without judgment or prejudice. The mix of people ages, races, couples, single males and females makes this wonderful spa an all inclusive environment. Yes it’s dated and not huge but this just adds to its charm. I loved seeing people interacting with one another sitting down talking without phones in hands (all too rare these days) either around the pool, in one of the jacuzzis, steam room, sauna or one of the social areas. The staff were great; the chap running around (Steve) was amazing, nothing was too much. It was my first visit so he showed me around and made sure I was comfortable. I watched him great everyone with a smile, he seems to genuinely like his job. He also makes a great sausage and egg sandwich!!! An amazing place and I’m sure I will be a regular there (I’m planning on returning tomorrow!!). ||Overall a superb club and would highly recommend anyone on the fence to visit, you will not be disappointed.

Room wasn't ready although I was shown to it. Furniture was dire. Cleaners said they cleaned the room, but still found rubbish afterwards. Asked about a massage, woman was too busy smoking outside. Microwavable Lasagne and no garnish !!!!!

I been going to siverleigh for around 5 years some time stay over and sometimes go for a day with my friends always for me it's a little gem of a place as I live the naturist way
Try go on sun or a Monday as do find Steve and nice lovely staff make me laugh so much as a Welsh lady very funny to be around always made very welcome and when I stay over for my long weekend it's wow John and his lovely wife very helpful and friendly well done guys was there for they big birthday as been going a long time all the couples and single people I chat with not pushy very relaxing and the food OK and price good to for everything of they don't sell alcohol I bring my own
