Good quality food. quality rather than fast food,friendly service from the hard working staff,at a reasonable price. Food from full English to rice/peas jerk chicken,or just drop in for a coffee after looking around the music museum and shops all under cover,so you can still sit outside even in the famous English weather

Popped into the 2 Tone Cafe recently before a bus back to Leicester. A great breakfast & an excellent cup of tea served by a lovely lady for £4. I'll be back if the chance arises again!Arranged my mum's birthday party held exclusively, and I must say that Angela pulled out all the stops for us. The food was delicious, hot, authentic and plentiful. It felt like the restaurant was part of our family celebrations.

I had a wonderful experience at the Two Tone Village. The food in the cafe was lovely. The Coventry Music Museum was very interesting and I loved learning all about the history of Ska... I even got to meet Neville Staple who popped in! The staff was tremendous and truly went above and beyond in making sure that my 2 Tone experience was spectacular.

Called in to the simmer down cafe whilst visiting the 2 tone village. An amazing little cafe with VERY friendly staff and owners .absolutely beautiful food, I cannot recommend the mutton curry enough. We came from Doncaster and will definitely returning to simmer down!

Great atmosphere. Surprisingly good coffee and a brilliant all day full English breakfast. I met Neville Staples. Part of our afternoon at the 2 Tone Village Experience that included The Coventry Music Museum, 2 Tone Corner clothing, footwear and accessories shop and a great 2 tone memorabilia shop.

Went to Simmer Down this evening and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant is tucked away in a very cool walkway, totally worth seeking out. A small, family run business with great service, warm atmosphere and amazing food. I cannot believe that I have only just visited this place, it really is a gem! The owner came over to say hello and our experience from start to finish was second to none. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
